  1. I've been into this for well over ten years and just in my Excursion I'm now over 12k. Now thats taken me 6 years to do so don't feel bad when your eyes are bigger then the pockets. It takes a long time and a lot of hard work.
  2. I haven't gotten back in touch with my contact yet. The trucks still in the shop and the Ins company and I are about to go rounds :R
  3. Common chamber is easier and will save you valuable air space when running that many subs. If BBP doesn't like you using that many subs (as it doesn't for me) then work it out in a smaller group or one by it's self then add for the rest. with a wall, depending on what kind of car it's going in, you might be limited on how much space is left for the port. I have 16-12's and have very little room for a port.
  4. I'm not sure if the 12's or 15's would Kill your deck, it might shorten it's life. As far as setup theres a thousand different ways you could go and everyone has a different idea of what they think is best. Depending on what you are looking for and what kind of budget you have, I'm sure you could get a few good ideas off of this site.
  5. Weather or not you use your truck is up to you and your budget. The same will apply on what class you play in. If in say USACI, if you remove your back seat, that will put you in modified. Thats not a bad thing just different. Same type of idea plays into DB Drag as well. If your short on that big whad of extra cash as most of us are, use what you got. I know you can get damn loud in that truck with the loss of the back seat. So save what you would spend on a different car and play and learn with what you got.
  6. Do you currently have a flipdown or you just gave up on putting one up there? gave up on it, not like I was using it anyway
  7. Not sure bout his list ( and I'm sure he has one) but here's a a breakdown of mine. 2 overhead Flipdown tv's the overhead ac controls the metal support brackets to the roof the tire basket and lights the rear door skins rear door panals at the seams rear ford emblem back pillar trim supports and the ECU from getting wet. when the front window seal came loose and rained then an assortment of little trim pieces either broke or cracked
  8. Yep you will, but it's better then being short :^ I've tried to run it that tight in the past and has bitten me in the ass
  9. Yeah I'll need height of your tallest window by overall length of all your windows
  10. Thats a good looking amp. 8 of those would push my 16 subs nicely get 8 then ;D PM or Email me some more info, I'm looking to go with a lot more power next year. :^
  11. I guess I'll just pack it up on the videos now. Can't top this one. One of the funnest things I've ever seen.

  13. Thats a good looking amp. 8 of those would push my 16 subs nicely
  14. 154.5 USACI Burp 4/15/06 152.3 DB Drag burp 7/16/06 151.0 Bassrace sealed up 8/19/06 152.5 Streetbeat 4/15/06
  15. Cool! your antenna looks like a palm tree :^
  16. Yeah seen those. The only postive to that thing is you can have broadband speed internet with them.
  17. They may have, I only saw the one they did with that big ass nasty dish that looked like it was 5 feet tall. this one is way different
  18. thats an old skool tv antenna. Nothing more then a fancy form of rabbit ears. There not very good, the window type tend to work and look better. You wanna step up to badass then go with this. http://www.kvh.com/products/product.asp?id=125
  19. I'm getting a price on both the clear and silver. The 300 is a 2 ply 7mm sheet and it also comes in a 3ply 9mm sheet. This will be a single applaction. The 400 is a 11mm 4ply sheet. The dealer was busy on a commerical job today so I will call back tomorrow. It sounds to me like the 300 will work great for most cars (3ply 9mm) it's still thin enough to work with on the curves on the windows ( like the back ) then use the 400 on the sides. I've worked with these size films in the past and it can be a pain in the ass to get it right.
  20. For those that have asked about getting some film. Hit me up with an amount you would need SQFT wise and I'll try and get a prices this week. Later, Bill
  21. I have this Jeep Commander rental while the trucks in the shop being put back together. ( So I can tear it apart when I get it home) and I might have to do a system in for a show coming up this weekend. Nothing fancy, but something to shake the shit out of it for a day
  22. These aren't easy at all, but it can be done. It's going to be tough what ever you choose. So find something you really want to drive first, then worry about getting loud. The bigger the airspace the more work you have to do, on the flip to that is you also have the room to fit more shit. It's a whole lot cheaper to change gear then it is to change rides.
  23. i would look at the discharge rate difference between the two, Both batteries might have a different rate. If that's the case, then your charging system will be working more to charge the one battery over the rest
  24. I'm workin on a price and to see if I can get it in bulk. I've worked with window films before so this stuff should be the same to install. maybe if I get enough people, I can do some other cars as well.
  25. funny tou say that cause my new tint will include this company. http://www.acesecuritylaminates.com/ I'm looking at a roll of the 300 if i can get it I will have to look into how much in bends for the curves in the windows. silver of course.
