I saved it off the USACI SQ Website way back. I guess it's still on there. I thought it should be something I would want to refer back to. -

Thay would really depend on your music choice. I went with 15's for years and kinda lost the feel for tighter bass. Now that I went back to the 12's, I'm going back to music that I had given up on years back.

since 18's hit the lows better than a smaller sub what does it lack vs a smaller sub? IMHO A smaller sub can, (Depending on conditions) have a better reaction / recover time then a larger sub. You can get a tighter sound with a smaller sub. A smaller sub can give you more of a punch.

Well... won't the face come off any deck if you work at it?

Ok so I'll post something a little different for you all. http://www.gordongoodwin.com/index1.html The Big Phat Band is a 5.1 big band cd that will test every aspect of your system. Now I know the idea of anything other then beat might seem gay to you but I can tell you that if your system can reproduce this they way it was ment to be heard then your big pimpin in my book.

Really, why bother. I mean, we all know better but some people you won't beable to change no matter what. It's like the guy that was into competiting years back comes up to you and says "a 150? shit, back when I did it everyone was doing that. You should be at a 160 bro." Now one could point out all the wonderful changes made with the new meter but, That type of person just didn't "get it" back then and still won't today. My advise is go to the show, hit your bigger number then you would on a TL and have some fun. I tell people all the time about my truck, "If you don't know, then you just don't know"

I picked up an isolator at a local RV shop. They sell all day long. It just depends on how many amps your gonna pull through it. -
Comps, any org....how many under your belt?
kingsuv replied to meade916's topic in Competitors Corner
Lets see, I don't have an offical count but, I remember gettin my ass handed to me at my first comp by some fool in a Honda. Then I've been chasing some fool in a Tahoe for awhile. I gots plenty of second place throphys sittin around -

Not sure bout yours but, Here's how I had to ghetto wire mine. The whites were wired together for the ground and the other 2 were tapped into the high and low. Double check, but on my X on the 3 prong plug, the ground was in the middle and the low beamand high beams were the other 2. A little work with a meter and your good to go.
