  1. The alpine type r components sound reaaal good. They're a good choice. Haven't heard the jl's to make the comparison.

  3. The 12's are rated at 600 each. and im about an hour and a half from bakersfield. just down the 5 to the 405 to the 118 (or 101)

  7. yes he still does have the quad. he hasnt made too much of an effort to sell it, which is why it hasnt moved yet. but shoot him a PM to make sure he sees it.
  8. Very prompt shipping and a great deal, only i was a little disappointed in the packaging. (the amp came in the original amp box with duct tape over the seams of the box, no double packaging.) other than that delivered as promised! thanks ray!
  9. type r 10's ftw!! They have great SQ and get decently loud. (for 10's that is) A t4000 would be a little much for either tho. I'd run a t3k like you said more recently

  12. Yes you would. And personally, I don't really like the P3's of last year. The new ones seem to be much better though.
  13. the other kinds are real size too, theyre just copper coated aluminum instead of oxygen free copper.

  18. higher tooth count. I use 40-60 tooth for mdf, and you use 80 for plexi.
  19. I believe he somehow takes out the protect circuitry, no idea how thats done though.
  20. Why are you running RCA's off your 4 channel into your mono? Run from the sub outs on the deck.
