13-14 cubes net is usually the sweet spot for 2 18's, although you could go all the way to 16 cubes. I kind of like the sound of smaller boxes. 30 hz should be fine.

yes it is. it's a bandpass/transmission line combination. Much louder and should sound much cleaner as well.

Electrical should be fine. I have no experience with visonik, so i couldnt tell you what they could handle.

those visonik subs actually dont look bad....

You should be able to tell when the subs are distorting...don't try to play them that loud...something WILL break.

I've heard a single powerbass 12 in a bandpass (eat dirt's old old setup), and that thing gave the worst chest pains. If $250 is all you got, i'd go with what i posted above.

2 type r 10's will run you around 250 just for the subs, if you include tax and shipping. i used that hifonics bxi1206 on a pair of them and it hits real hard for 10's and only 1200 watts.

Can you run a H/O alt in the class youre in?

Not to get you down man, but there's only so much you can get out of 300 watts and 2 10's.

there should be a switch that lets you choose between HPF and LPF. Make sure its on LPF, and then set your lpf at around 80 hz.

Just go from the amp to one coil on the sub like you normally would, and then do a small jumper wire from that coil to the next.
