    I doubt a box for 8 10's would be able to be built outside the trunk. So you might have to build it yourself or have a shop do it.

    So I finally got a job at an audio shop. For those who don't know I've been trying to get one for a longass time, and after going down to the place enough, and bringing down a few of the systems I've installed for friends, the owner made the decision to hire me!     If the amps are strapped at 1.4, each one is still seeing .7 ohms.

    I'm guessing both the speaker and tweet are both 4 ohm, so you'd have a 2 ohm load (which is fine for almost all 4 channel amps), and the passive x-over would work for the tweet, and then you would just use the HPF on the amp to filter the 6.5's. It'd work fine IMO

    Silicon caulk, a good woodglue like Titebond, screws or brad nails and a drill/brad nailer.

    8 cubes net would work good for 4 12's. But it's more about what sound you prefer. 12's or bigger subs like 15's.

    in defense of sonic, I've done a loot of business with them. They've always been really good with returned stuff, and they've upgraded stuff for me as well. Plus they usually have reaal fast shipping (plus I only live 45 minutes away from them )
