The old lanzar amps were good but new lanzar stuff is bad.. same with anything pyle.. Quality on both of these is horrible. If your looking for cheap stuff that has a lotta quality id go with Audioque! look them up

Yeah just get some thin speaker wire connect them using butt connectors or solder

yeah i would just save up if i were you. the only reason i got one is because my stock one took a crap and i got one of these for like a $100. im just using it temporarily until i have enough funds to buy a DC alt

i bought one a few months ago and im happy with it but i dont know if it really puts out what its rated for. But everytime i start it, it idles at 14.4 volts.

you have the subs and dont know how to research? it took me 30 seconds to go on theyre site and find out that they need 3-6 cu feet. & are you sure you measured right? thats like 10'x 6'x 5'? that seems a little outta proportion for a trunk?

i was gonna do 2 dd 9518s but it was gonna cost 7000 + so i figured get some alpines coz ive had a dd 1512 and alpine type x and the alpine really stood out $7000 for two dds? you could buy two 9500s and a nice amp and it still wouldnt even be close to that much im in australia so just say 2 3500 sundown audio amps $2000 450 shipping, $3000 for 2 dd 9518s, $1000 for 2 car audio batterys, plus wiring and boxes holy lord. i didnt know you were in austalia. lol never mind than that changes everything haha yes it suck BIG time to get comp audio here, sure u find great priced on ebay and such but shipping is huge, and to get stuff in australia is for instance $500 for a 1000 amp battery i can only imagine lol that sucks

yea i dunno ive been reading that they can take a bit, i used to have a alpine type r and i ran it of of 1850 rms and it was still hungry for more alpine really doesnt make competition subs. and that type r most likely fried after a few minutes on that

These things cant really handle much more than theyre rated for? id say 1100 1200 max but thats just me. alpine doesnt make competition quality subs that can take a lot more than theyre rated for

you can get kickers for under that and they sound pretty nice for small subs and it certainly wont be overpowering in the bass to music

Firing forwards isnt always about spl. And yeah pics would help a lot on what your trying to describe. Your going ported but your sealing what? Your trunk from the cabin? Which way do you want the port to face?

Yeah 2 12s would sound nice ^^ You could also do a 15 in the back seat (thats what im doin right now). Just make sure that you check where the gas tank is under your car because you dont wanna screw down the box and hit your tank like i almost did lol
