my truck did the same this summer... most likely it is the compressor, mine was making the grinding noise while i test my friend subs with my system. popped the hood & mine was shooting sparks, cut the truck off. then started the truck with every thing off & every thing was cool till i turned the AC or Heat on. after changing the compressor all was good...

far as what I know: strapping = more power & less time tuning amps trying to get the to match out put two 3500 wat amps strapped together = one 7000 amp I could be wrong (if i am tell me!!!!)

the amps & batteries are between the seat & box... the 22" depth is cut up from the full 29 1/2" of depth in the rear of the truck: taking 3 1/2" for the batteries since the seat is at a angle i dont need the full 7" but i added it any way. then i added 3" more inches for the hight on the amps at the top of the seat. So if my math right I got 4-5" to play with between the box & tailgate. I only need 3" to reach in & open the tailgate. then again if the math is wrong i can slide the box back & put the batteries between the box n hatch or raise the box & put the batteries under it...

Ok im looking for some sub box ideas for my 93' Ford Bronco. seeing as I use all Mac computers for school & DJing, I cant use Torres' Box Tuning Calculator or the sketchup programes... I want/trying to run four DC Audio lvl 4 12's in one box in the space left between the back seat & the tailgate. After i put the amps on the back of the seat & batteries right below the amps behind the seat. I want the sub box to two or more sheets of MDF thick for each side of the box The specs for the space behind the seat are: D {F-B}: 29 1/2" [rounded off] 29" W {S-S}: 50 1/2" [rounded off] 50" H {window line}: 21" The specs for the space behind the seat after taking 10" for the batteries & amps are: D {F-B}: 20-22" W {S-S}: 50" H {window line}: 21" mantz88 told me mazdaspl helped him... wonder if you or anybody on this forum can help me. im go do all the work i just need ideas & box math help

yea thats a true sleeper... even better if you cant see the sub. I know if i strap the amps, yea all 4 subs will be on full time which kills the sleeper plane but it would cause less work for me... i'll make up my mind when i get to that point. the subs wont just be under the window line, the back window will blacked out with custom tint... ill post the link when the guy send me the info pack
