really? i have my low pass filter on my amp at 80hz but does that mean i gotta set my it on my head unit at 80hz? i will try 120hz man

yea i have a hpf, its set at 80hz on the head unit..i do have subs in the trunk but even with the subs off and the volume up it sounds like its distorting, im not trying to sound dumb or anything...and using the dd-1 it was tested thru the rca's...i understand the internal amp will clip before the preouts but does that mean im clipping the head unit? idk if anyone uses sony speakers on here.. please no smart ass comments, im just trying to learn

i have sony 6x9s in my rear deck, i got a alpine head unit and its alot louder then my kenwood, sounds like a have a 4channel amp hooked up to my mid and highs, i got everything tested with the dd-1 and and my head unit is not clipping but when i turn it full tilt, volume 30/35 sub level at 11. it sounds like my mids are distorting..idk if it is because there sony speakers..hopefully someone can help me..ill buy new ones if i need to once again head unit was set with a dd-1

what are some songs that are really loud, not just bass but for the mids and highs, i really like the snare hits in some rap songs that just hurt your ears, only songs that i know that are good for mid and highs are dubstep songs..hopefully you guys can post some up

i guess i spoke to damn soon, they let me go today and here is the reason, the guy that im replacing has to have surgery next week and they thought next month and he was not in today so they had to have a guy show me some stuff and he went and did his thing, i tried to do what i could and what i knew how to do, i kept asking him questions and all that and i could tell he was getting pissed bc he had to drop what he was doing in order to help me, a guy came in today for a interview and has experince on working machines and blue prints, i couldnt learn all the stuff in a week so they replaced me with him, im soo damn pissed off and feel like i failed..it sucks that they wouldnt take the time out and help me...gotta keep looking again..

so my 3rd interview went well and they called me last week and asked if i still want the job and of course i said yes, today was my first day, its called coral building system. we put together i-beams, i was really nervous today bc its different then being at welding school, im doing more then welding, like working machines and following blue prints, i suck at blue prints but hopefully i learn them better. just wanted to let you all know that i finally got my job

could be a bad cell, i never had a xs power battery so cant say much, i know there better then kinetiks when the car off, do you have the big 3? that will help keep the battery charged alittle better

idk how deep cycles are under the hood, i would go with a optima yellow top, its made to be under the hood and deep cycle as well. i have one and i love it

dont use polly fill, alot of pre-fab boxes use that, its actually bad for the subs bc if that shit gets into the sub, then your gonna have some probs.. just leave the box how it is..pics would help

3 cubes each? that would be to big, if it is total then yes it will work great, those subs arnt the greatest but its all in the box

that second skin stuff is alittle expensive, was hoping something cheaper but if its the best thing to work then ill get it

i think there pretty good, obv there is better out there but for the price it does rated, i never owend one but got a friend who has the hifonics brz line and there boards are the same..if your on a budgt, then i'd buy it

so my spare tire wheel rattles alot, it has done this now for 2 years, it does it on high bass notes, you cant hear it inside the car but outside the car it sounds like shit, 4 months ago i got a turbo thrush muffler for my car and 2 months ago when im driving it rattles the well, now when it does its pretty annoying bc its loud but you can only hear it when the back seat is folded down, it also rattles my amp once in a while and sounds werid, is there anything i can put underneath the wheel well to help the rattle or anything

i used a dd-1 today on my alpine cde-122 and its 2volts. it did not clip at full volume now if you where to buy that same head unit it might clip at 31 just depends

that solo x is junk...keep those subs and build a box or have someone on here build you one...shitty square subs lol

idk if 1 of my fuses are poped are not, i should prob look, i go full tilt and nothing goes into protect or shuts off, just wasnt sure so thought i'd ask

cant say i shocked myself yet, knock on wood lol if you have more then 1 fuse in a amp and 1 is blown will your amp still work? prob a dumbass question..

maybe it dont read alot of folders but reads more songs? i might dry a different flash drive and put more songs in a folder but use 3 folders

same thing kinda happend to me last month, i was tighting my negitive wire on my amp and one of the allens hit the side of my amp and sparked and smoked alittle, car was off aswell all it did was leave alittle white burn mark on the side of the amp, i got soo scared
