  4. Just recieved it the other day! 65 lbs of beauty, I wish I had something to compare the motor to, to show its true size. the 18" sub is making the perspective off. it's one of two being used :eyebrow: Thanks Jacob! this thing is a piece of art!
  5. good to know, I don't think I have seen any splits on the label. They seem to be holding the charge fine still.
  6. yea. thank you captain obvious for not answering any of my questions.
  7. So, what are some signs of XS Power batteries venting their oxygen? I read charging over 14.9 can cause this. I am asking because while I was having some trial and error time with my Mechman 270 trying to get the AVBM set right I did occasionally over the course of a couple months, charge 15.0-15.1 while driving at highway speeds. I finally have it set to 14.9 on cold start up and after stop and go driving it settles down to 14.5-14.6 idle. I'm just really scared of ruining a 300 dollar battery. I didn't see any other thread on this particular subject so I figure it may help someone else in the future by knowing what to look for. Thank you all for any help.
  8. I purchased a Sundown SAZ-4500D from him and it was a pleasant transaction all the way through. We had numerous conversations through text, none of my questions were ignored leaving me to feel safe spending over 900.00 with him. He lives in California and I live in Florida, so needless to say I was nervous sending that much money to someone so far away, but in the end I am Satisfied as everything is delivered as promised, exactly when promised. No need to fear when dealing with him! A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
  9. I tried a cigarrette once and it burned so freakin bad when I inhaled that I put that shit down and never looked back. Pain was my Anti-Smoking. lol
  10. Showing off. lol I haven't even installed them yet. Plus If I was selling them, they would be in the For Sale section.
  11. http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/toolmaker-price-quote-section/ Post a thread there.
  12. 3 Positive and 3 Negative 1/0 upgradeable to have of 6 each if I were to get more amps in the future. designed to compress snugly on top of the SAE brass posts on my XS Power S3400 and I-bar kit

  14. Pm corona_jeff on here. Hes got the best deal right now on shipped xs power batteries. And he's authorized to boot. I've bought a d6500 and xs power intellicharger from him without a hiccup.
  15. Awesome! Kinda makin me lean to these over the FI SP4.. what's your electrical and voltage drop look like? what does that M3 put out at .5ohm?
  16. Love my Mechman 270 amp alt! I got it a while ago and did the Big 3 but never posted any pics! how could I!? but im learning after reading here that I'm supposed to run a ground from the grounding stud on the alt to the batteries ground (disregard the mismatched electrical tape, that is hidden by covers). I was not aware of that and I ran it to the engine block instead. I'm not having any problems so should I just leave it there and add another ground from the alt neg to bat neg?
  17. oh okay. good to know. I Just haven't charged them in a year of use so when it said it was charged one minute later, I was worried I did something wrong. LOL I guess XS Power is just beast. Thanks!
  18. I just plugged mine in for the first time today and the charging light turned orange (means its charging), then literally 1 minute later the light was green. Is that normal? there's no way my batteries are in that good of shape after the use they get. I just want to make sure the chargers not bad or my batteries are not bad. so I left it on the charger for a few hours and when I turned the car to ACC (just battery power) to see what they were resting at(stinger volt meter), it was at 13.1 then a fews seconds later 13.0 then 12.9. do I have a bad cell?
