  1. Yea I saw that, I was asking if anyone can vouch for the accuracy of that power claim.. or should I not risk it and go with a saz-2000D because I know those work..
  2. was thinking of using this as my amp. Stetsom V 1K5 H 1 Ohm. does it really do over 1500wrms? it just looks so small i don't see how its possible lol..
  3. Oh Yea? I heard those are beasts. Are they like the nightshade or what? because iirc the nightshade was 1500rms and these are too. Can you explain the difference to me?
  4. any dealers online today that can PM me? its the weekend so I doubt I'll get a response from the company today. any other woofer suggestions guys? thanks for the help so far.
  5. oh yea I totally forgot about those. the 4XL seems to be a popular choice around here. so between those two, its really a toss up huh? I see the BL is 339 shipped, what about the 4XL?
  6. thanks for the heads up, James. However, could you suggest one in particular that catches your eye in that price range? just like you said, there are so many new companies I don't even know where to begin.
  7. I've been outta the game for about 3-4 years and so much has changed its mind blowing lol. Ive got a 2008 scion TC hatchback and I want to do a single 15" SETUP. I need suggestions on a 15" woofer that will like 1500wrms and cost $450. what are my options? I was looking at the new 2010 TC sounds Axis with the 3hp motor. but other than that idk. looking to get decently loud and low bass and since its a hatch, I know it wont be that difficult.
  8. while I'm here instead of starting a new thread. would it be better to just upgrade to the biggest Powermaster battery up front(I can fit the D2400) and leave the stock alt (which is 100 amps) or upgrade the stock alt with a Mechman alt and leave the stock battery? I'll be running about 1500wrms. So, nothing crazy but not small either. thanks!
  9. I wasn't sure either, which is why I figured I'd ask..
  10. why could you not pursue a career in LE? seems in calif there would be a shitton of departments to choose from?
  11. in reference to the "mouse gun" caliber of .380, yea you want to go atleast 9mm for a viable SD weapon. loaded in 147gr JHP is a must though. g heavy or go home. heres a thread with lots of great info you all might enjoy, from a credible source for all the new to carrying folk, or even the "experienced" guys. http://concealedcarryforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4121 http://concealedcarryforum.com/forum/topic...?TOPIC_ID=11911
  12. ahhh finally someone who shares the love for little bear holsters! I friggin love mine! all of this stuff is from Little Bear, Dave is an awesome guy. trim is done in Wild FL gator
  13. I prefer my IWB from little bear holsters, its tuckable and i had him put wild FL gator skin on it. also got a double thick shooters belt and spare mag pouch.. cant even tell im wearing it.
  14. best bet for cheap is a gun show but idk how frequent they are in your area. #2 google that shit man, the internet is your friend. this isnt a question you cant find the answer in bout 5 minutes on google lol
  15. And for the slimmer profile look at the Walther PPS in 9mm. less than 1inch thinck at its widest point and proven to be reliable as all hell. I have one in .40 they can be had for a lil over 550 and they are fully made in Germany
  16. dont use gunbroker please. they are shitty in terms of if something goes wrong the buyer is basically fucked go here instead http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php bought many guns from them without a hitch and they are authorized resellers of a TON of major brands for cheap! and if you sign up for an account (free) you get even better prices
  17. if this is your wifes first gun I would suggest a lower caliber to learn her with, a 9mm perhaps. a 9mm 147 JHP will stop a BG with just as much effectivness as a .40. you dont want her to become scared of the recoil. her skill is much more important than the size of the gun. I wouldnt suggest anything lower than 9mm though for SD. (no .380 or the like) a good thing to remember is two well placed shots from a 9mm is better than 5 missed shots from a .40 get my drift?
  18. Magazine out and chamber clear, first, please. Double check! You need to hold down on that takedown latch with one hand, and with the other hand, pull the slide fully to the rear and then lift the rear of the slide up and off the frame, easing it forward and off the front of the fixed barrel. The latch keeps the slide from moving too far to the rear during normal firing; pulling the latch down and out-of-the-way allows the slide a little bit more rearward travel, which gets it to the disassembly point where you can lift it up and pull it off. Don't pull the trigger or let the hammer slam forward when the slide is off the frame, or damage may result. Hope this was helpful.
  19. I promise you you are reading too much into teh question, I passed my NREMT on my first try without even studying for it. if you stuy you will over analyze everything. Im telling you from experience..the questions are soo damn obvious when you stop reading into them and making it all difficult remember your ABC's and the exact steps of your pt head to toe and you will do fine.
