See its 1250 rms at 2 ohm, But im sure it would put out more at 1 ohm right? Think its possible for around 2000 watts at 1 ohm it says 2500 watts at 1 ohm dynamic.

See now what scares the hell out of me is, His vocals still drown out his bass some! I honestly havent felt bass anywhere near as loud and where it moves so much air its basically ripping your shirt off. Would be good for hot chicks to sit in their then. Hey Beast, Ill have to bring some and have to try that out next time lol . But the EV's are my favorite part of the truck and they are loud and clean. Im getting this amp also. Im looking for around possibly 2000 watts+ at 1 ohm. Im looking at around 14.3 volts usually.

You will do best with subs back port back, or sealing off the trunk and making the box go subs foward port foward basically making it a mini wall

Mofo Subs arent bad, not the best sq but have pretty good spl. Their amps your really cant beat and are good. I havent used anything but PA amps. I had a mtx 8100 and subcked compared to the 8 other power acoustik amps my brother and I have had

My ported box tuned to 28hz believe it or not has a pretty flat resonse from 20-80. Shakes everything on lows and air movement and lots of spl on the higher freqencies. I couldent be happier! Try tuneing to low 30's

Yeah I learned from when I had my box tuned high. So now for music I tune nice and deep. It sounds good anyways and rumbles real loud on the lows and moves a crap load of air.

My shop owner always ran his 2 at 1 ohm for 2 Solo X 18"s and they wuold produce around 3500 watts If I remember right. But the downside was he was always replaceing the amps after about every 3 months from them burning out due to they are only makeing around maybe another 1000 watts more he said it isent worth it.

I think its good for the protection. They are covering their butt too. Me If I was all out with it I would wear ear plugs and then the wrap around headphones.

Me persoanally I make a really good ported box tuned really low to prevent them from bottoming out from playing below tuneing on music, like bass I love you, Beats 4 my van, jeezy some music and I still get those 40-50hz songs that just vibrate the crap out the car and create a lot of spl on music. Then I had a high tuned ported box to 45hz, It was the biggest mistake ever made lol. Subs bottomed out below tuneing. But my ported box tuned to 28hz moves a stupid amount of air on the super low stuff it flexes everything and moves a crap load of air, but gets super loud on music on the higher frequencies and can play all around like sealed can do.

I mostly see people use sealed boxes if they have little room and dont care about looking to get loud. In my friends Explore he had a small sealed box that he had metered a 139 on the ac with 2 15" CVR's. I had built him a good ported box, 4 cubes each sub and he did a 147.3 after that. Was a huge difference.

Yes sealed boxes are supposed to have better sq than ported boxs. But ive gotten them to sound just as good a sealed but ported was just a lot louder.
