See when I took my box which is subs back port back, and flipped it up to subs up port up i lost a lot of bass! Dident hear as much and dident do nearly as much as I was subs back and port back

From what ive tried also subs back port back. But yeah once you get past 2 subs you need to do port back subs up to fit them all.

Yeah because when I was messing around with my box I had tried it with subs up port up because im normally subs back and port back and it wasent nearly as loud. You could barely even hear anybass. But then I went and moved it back to subs back port back and it was a completely different game.

Ive always been wondering how a certain box design can get loud. For example when you do subs back (sealed) and or subs back port back you are reflecting the soundwaves to the front of the vehicle and concentrateing the soundwaves to the front where the meter and listener are. Walls are self explainitory, they concentrate the soundwaves right up front to the meter and listener and keeping in enclosed in that area and also making it less area to pressureize and compress. Now subs up port back seems to baffle me on how its louder in suv's and etc. Subs concentrate the soundwaves up towards the roof and port back. Soundwaves are boucing around up and down in the car from roof to floor and ports faceing back. I understand how the port would concentrate the sound to the front and throughout the car but I dont understand how faceing it up would concentrate it through out the car.

So all you have to say is that you like the paint and the rims, and thats it. If you dont like the interior or the system dont keep dogging someone about it. Your not flauting your car around are you, or are you embarassed on what people would say about your car/truck? Who cares, DeepHitters mag is the only magazine that is honestly the truth. Honest installs, good looking cars and trucks, and people who put blood sweat and time into their finished product. Its like telling a spl guy that his car/truck sucks because of looks. If he pulls up with 2 18"s and burps a 160+ and then you have a guy come up with the best looking car or truck with over $30 grand of stereo equipment into the car or truck and does everything to make it looks good and only does a 145 theirs difference.

I agree. Accidents do happen. He should have kept it on the track like he races and does. Thats no 60mph accident that the lost control or something he was well speeding. That was the problem.

I had forgot about this. Supras are sick, my brother has an 85. But thats what not driving smart does. The new 09 Supra looks really exotic.

Krispy absoutely slams in just about any car that I have put it in. Creates a lot of pressure!

Honestly I cant say enough on how crappy RD's products are and how pissed they have me. Wait a long ass time for a response and I didnet even get it after emailing them 3 times my friend had to get through to them! But I have to pay for shipping both ways for both my subs because they fell apart and were declared manufactuer defect

Peice of shit indeed my friend. I have pictures but I cant post not yet at least of how the spider glue is cracking and disconneting fromt he voice coil, 1 of the voice coils would work then stop freely as it went both subs. Also had only 400 clean watts going to each one and they would start to smell and get very hott. But never blew them had to stop useing them after 30 seconds of use. They suck and thats all to it. I have to pay shipping back to the company for them to replace them because a whole bach that hasbrouck and I bought are all maufactuer defect! But we have to pay for the shipping both ways due to their products failed. I should have listened, everyone had problems with them and All I did was joing the club.

How much is it for a Si Mag 12"? Also any links?

I guess i may have to go with subs up and port in the middle then maybe, not with the port on the bottom.

Not meaning to be a pain in the ass, but what if I dident need a port that long and it was around the lenght of the dotted line. Would it still be ok? Subs wuold be over the bottom of the box not over the port.

It will probally be something like this off the top of my head. The green is the port lenght. Then non dotted line could be possibly an estimate of my 40hz port lenght. The dotted line is going to be the port lenght of my spl tuned boxtuned to 68hz (not exact just an image example off the top of my head). Would you see any problems in that design? Blue circles being subs of course. Please let me know kingsuv, i really appreciate your help.
