  1. Not sure what the amp puts out rms at 1 ohm but yes. You will need to wire the sub in parallel. IF you add another sub the same thing. Add another sub with the same impedance, wire it the same way to the amp and you will remain at 1 ohm going to both subs.
  2. You mean your amp is 1 ohm stable? Wont hurt anything. What ohm you have it wired at is all up to you.
  3. No sir thats incorrect. You can wire 2 4ohm subs down to 1 ohm or up to 4 ohm. Thats it.

  7. I was acutally going to put him, but then I thought of how much respect Steve deserves!
  8. I would say Steve, but hes an administator but I still say he deserves it in my opinion. He is a working man, works on the cars/trucks, has a family, household to take care of, and im sure other things but he can still come on here and answer questions and post pics of the hooptys status. Not only this site but a few others also. I give him the credit! I thank your for everything you do!
  9. Dont want to sound rude or anything, but you would be better off placing the sub on the other side of the box away from the port. IT will sound better and cleaner. Check this thread out. Hope it helps you. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=17038
  10. Heres the link to them. http://www.infiniteelectronix.com/index.as...ID=2&Page=2 Heres the link to some pics of the monsters. They have very loud vocals! Heard 4 of them when a guy had 6 15"s walled and has 2 in each of his front doors for vocals and they kept up no problem and got super loud. http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.p...ht=monster+mids
  11. I know me too!!! Its hilarious! Give me the boobies damnit!
  12. Agree of a sundown 1500.1 anytime. But i like the RF2000.1 option
  13. I dident find any square subs for memphis?
  14. Supposibly when kicker first came out with the square sub the mtx owner came over to the kicker booth and congratulated them and said they could never get the square design to work. So both have been working on it for some time.
  15. I agree loganberry. I dont know square subs are starting to come on to me some. I really like the L7's wouldent mind 2 12" L7's off of a 2500.1 and imageing 2 18" Solo X's off a WarHorse? Im starting to get fond of square subs and ive always hated them. Would love to see a 4" Voice Coil on the Solo X 18"
  16. Your right. But anybody can do anything. Square subs have more cone area. Moves more air. Companies why not try it you know? Someone copied the design to have a circle sub so everyone should be called copy cats
  17. cooyats? Copycats lol. Anyone can use a square sub or make one. Then everybody should be called copycats for copying the circle subwoofer design.
  18. Dont forget about the soundstream square subs.
  19. Not many people run rear fill as myself. I find it pointless. Rear fill would work real well with a wall blocking the rear fill.
  20. There 6.5" is a monster looking like speaker. They do get very loud also. There was a thread in here about it back maybe a month ago and they are extremely loud and beefy. Magnets about the size of the cone.
  21. Cheaper from parts express. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=264-422 These speakers get extremely loud, can take a lot of wattage and remain clear. Now sq clarity is another thing. They arent a set of rainbow, morel, mb quarts, focal speakers these are meant for sq and by far lead with sq. The speakers are PA speakers. Get extremely loud and remain clear. I have 4 of these. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=295-015. 2 in each front door and they have screaming vocals! I have a power acoustik 200.4 hooked up to it and about 50 watts per speaker and they sure can take more wattage. I had them taking 150 each daily and they were just insane.
