So im mounting my amps where my back seat used to be, and what are people methods to protect your equipment or at least slow a thief down if they were to try and steal it? Im nervous of keeping 3 amps in my back seat in view. Yes i have a nice alarm and tinted windows but if you look close you can see. Is there anyway of mounting or anything i can do to make it that much harder for someone to walk off with? I dont have a welder so cant really tack weld the nuts on threaded rod like ive seen someone do but id like to sleep comfortable. Any help would be appreciated

44 bucks for 25 sq ft? Thats only a little bit more than peel and seel... Peel and seel is roughly 32-35 bucks for the same amount....amd compared to other companies shit it doesnt seem to bad

Has thier new amps came out yet? They are good amps i think and almost ordered one a few months ago but glad i didnt because they have been on back order forever. But yes good amps if you ask me

final pic of the box now on to some pics of the back seat, amp and battery racks...not even sure what im going to do yet, im kind of freestyle building...lol the little rack to hold two batteries batteries are going to be flushmounted and possibally the amps too this is where im at now, you can see where the batteries will sit, flush with the base and im still not sure how the amps are going

So i wanted to officially start a build log to show everybody the progress and equiptment going into the RL..here is the link for my subwoofer box build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/100787-building-my-2nd-box-ever-simple-question/ im going to post the finish product and the last of the progress pics in this thread to keep it all together.. so now that the box is almost done ive moved to the door panels that are coming off and the back seat being removed..im not exactly sure how and what i want to do so im playing this all as i go..i noticed that when i got the rear panels off, the speakers were 5 1/4's and i have 2 sets of 6.5 comps .. i have all bose in the car now, 3 ways up front, should i just add the 2 sets and leave all the bose or should i take it out? some of the bose has to stay because i dont have enough speakers or a H/U to replace it all..the bose actually sounds really nice too so i thing adding might just make it sound better idk...any opinions would be great.. Im also going to be building a nice amp rack to go in the back seat and ive decided to keep the batteries in the back seat also and not the trunk..i want to distribute the wieght a little better and not have it all in the very back and have my car sitting all fucked up.. well i just wanted to let you guys know where this is going as of right now so grab some andand enjoy!! lol this is the final coat of black, now im going to add a little something to let em know whats up..lol the car as of now

If you were hitting them and moving them then you should have definetly checked them before turning your system back on and all the way up especially. Double check and set your gains and filters

Im always on my iphone on here. Ive never had any issues. I hardly ever get on my computer to get on here unless its to upload pics

You would be ok just doing the big 3 and get a nice big AGM batteey under the hood.

Yeah i got a quote already for a pair of level 2's so that is a option too. Im going to try an push those or the AQ but hes not a big car audio guy so he only knows kicker, pioneer ect ect. So im trying to get some options. I saw a few on audiosavings too that might appeal to him idk :/ im trying to get through to him, you get what you pay for sometimes
