  1. hey, atleast the guy gave you the chance to turn it down before calling the cops or bashing you on the internet. his actions show alot more maturity than yours do in this situation.
  2. with this install being in an extended cab truck, you need to be careful with your port area. if you start to get into massive port area, then your tuning will start to be more affected by the enclosure depth than the port length.
  3. i all comes down to quarter wave theory, and phasing.
  4. good job walt! your stuff has come a long way since i first met you at the audio extremes show in '07
  5. but with the fs of the sub being a "free air" resonance measurement, it really serves no purpose at all once the woofer is installed in an enclosure.
  6. a part of that is due to the tuning not being just about port length, port area, and box volume. tuning has just as much to do with enclosure depth as it does port length and area.
  7. i would, but all the shop owners out there are a bunch of idiots that either 1-want me to pay them to have a show 2-want to collect all the entry fees and give me a cut. when i do shows for people (other than the situation yesterday where i was just a hired meter), i provide EVERYTHING, awards and all. the guys in florida charge the shops $1000 for a show, then keep all the entry fees, and the shops are lining up left and right because they know they will make their money back off sales. but all the morons running the shops in savannah are just oblivious.
  8. we at the show, im getting internet from somewhere, dont know where though, damn i like wireless. we got screwed on this show. were getting paid $100 just to show up. they were supposed to have awards for all our classes, but, like usual, they only got one trophy for the competition. weve been here 2 hours so far, and havent seen a single competitor. oh well, we get paid either way. im tired of all these b.s. shows we get hired to do. id rather not do a show at all than do a bullshit show.
  9. im hosting a local stereo show in stateboro on april 4th. we did this show last year and had a great turnout, and lots of fun. show will be judged with my termlab. i will post the address in the coming days. any questions just ask.
  10. your pulling 600 amps of power and only generating 190 and wondering about voltage drop? i know you got batteries, but still..........
  11. anyone looking for a nice fitted leather holster, check out the galco products! i have several holsters, and this one is far superior to all the others. they are expensive, but worth every penny! galco cop-3 for my sr9
  12. holster at cost ($15), 100 rounds of ammo for $15, gun for $400. they marked the gun down $50 since i do lots of business there, and having my firearms permit saved them from having to go through the background check process.
  13. the three magazines are all 17 round, and full, plus one always in chamber. 17+17+17+1=52 rounds at all times. if someone wants to mug me with a knife and says "give me everything you got", they had better be sure they want it ALL!
  14. ruger sr9 uncle mikes synthetic holster my wife likes this gun so much, she wants for herself now! heres a crappy camera phone pic.
  15. anyone notice if he had the world "alabama" wrote on hi license plate?
