  1. I was thinking about tuning around 33hz. I read the RMS is 1000 can they really be ran that much over?
  2. Don't believe I'd be running quite that much to them, probably around that for the pair. How well do they do on the low end?
  3. Any subs out there in that price range that will get louder while still sounding good? I've had to change my budget on my next go round and was thinking of 2 15's and these are in the perfect price range.
  4. That Screwed and Chopped Trae song used to be pretty much the song i used to show off my car. Friggin low.
  5. I had one of the old quad coil 15's. That could take some wicked abuse. Knew a guy that ran about 2,000 RMS daily to them and they never smelled at all.
  6. Any body know anyone that has had the flu this year or last and they ended up with heart problems or death from heart problems caused by the flu? It did me and i was curious if there is anyone else out there.
  7. Line drive, shoot, thats never good. They just about should have face masks for pitchers cause that shit happens a lot. I was batting when mine happened, and the pitcher at the time was the fastest in the league.
  8. Baseballs are fuckin wicked. I took one to the face several years back, broke from one side of my nose, across, and under my other eye a little bit. Good luck with your eardrum, thats some scary shit to mess up sometimes.
  9. LOL, if they call me I still have to go back and piss for them and do a background check.
  10. It went pretty good actually. Should know something within a week. Heck the easiest part was the strength tests, they were kind of amusing. I'm keeping fingers crossed because its a pretty nice deal if i can get in.
  11. Going for one with the power company today. Jesus i hope it works out. One i really need a job since I'm finished with college now and 2 because I've always wanted to work for them.
  12. Good luck. For some reason I love that year of explorers laying body. Take your time and do it right.
  13. lol, man i wish i had those master skills, the honeys would be all over me. Ahh i went better than i though it was going to. Only bad part was no after prom booty.
  14. Going with my girl tonight to her prom. Hopefully its more exciting than mine cause it sucked royally. This is one ol' white boy that needs to pick up some moves, cause me trying to dance is pathetic. Wish me luck.
  15. I hate that for ya. If you didn't have your insurance card thats one thing, but being it was careless driving also chances are you plain out didn't have insurance. People like that piss me off, if you don't have insurance and you cause me, my passengers, or my car harm, then its gettin took out of your face on the spot. Sorry, for the off topic just my subtle opinion.
  16. I just though i'd ask. I was designing a box once and couldn't get it to work because of the angles, it was like 3/4 or 1 inch from being perfect no matter how i did it and i was mad.
  17. How close would the magnets of the extreme top and bottoms subs be to the box?
  18. okay sorry for all the dumb question i dunno what the hell i was thinking all week. I think its the lack of sleep. But thanks again, durr on my part.
  19. ok i guess i misunderstood you then. I though when you said .75 after displacements i thought you meant that was after adding them on. So it would be like .75 cubic ft. and then add on the port and sub displacement which would make it for example like 1.1 cubes correct?
  20. Ok, now i'm confused. First to go with .75 each which adds up to 3 cubic ft, but now you are saying that the 4.42 cubic ft. box would be fine also. Sorry to be a pain, i just don't want to risk this poor fellers subs, if they were mine, i know what i would be doing the box a little differently.
  21. An "o-scope" is an oscilloscope. You can use it to look at the output of the amp and make sure that the amp isn't clipping the peak values of each cycle.
  22. ok so make sure i've got this right. If i go with a 2 or so net cubic foot box, after i add on port, sub, and bracing displacements it shouldn't be over 3 cubes total correct? And that 20 square inches each? is that for sub or per cubic foot.
  23. Thats good to know. I was laughing when the guy at the shop he bought them at told him to tune the box around 50 or 60. The first words out of my mouth to him were something along the lines of that ain't gonna happen. Of course this is the same guy that told me to tune some old memphis subs i picked up from them to 45-50 and they wouldn't play down in the 30's.
