Would I have to worry about unloading issues with the single sub per box design? should I cut the hole close to or away from the port?

If you think you have a bad ground, I would take care of that first.

Bump for help? T3 suggests 20 in^2 of port area by 16" deep for 320 in^2 = 0.185185185 ft^3. If I make a box 14*32*26 with a port 12.5*3.25*13.5, I get a net volume of 4.62 ft^3, 40.63 in^2 of port area, 0.47 ft^3 of port volume, 8.79in^2 port area per foot and tuning of 34.09 Hz all after sub displacement. Probably too small, but it seems to match T3's specs as far as I can tell and if I can fit this into my trunk with subs and port forward then I'll be happy. I can also salvage what's left of the MDF I have to be able to do it without having to buy more.

I have the first box half built, but am screeching to a halt til I have a confirmation.

And I just realized I think I have almost double the port area I need. And I might have been able to do subs forward port forward like I wanted to instead of having to do two separate boxes with port and sub up. Well, good luck to you. JERK!!! JD started working on mine yesterday it's okay though because it'll give me enough time to build the new boxes. OP, Last I knew he still had 5.25's and I got a pretty damn good deal on my subs, so it's definitely worth checking out.

Almost, they had a huge problem with a licensee trying to screw them over but they took it to court and got it settled. They are working on developing all new stuff and plan to come out with them either late fall of this year to probably January of next year. You can hit up John Demuth because he is working on selling some of their B-stock items, I already ordered 2 12" T.1000's off him. Go HERE for info about getting some equipment from him. ty!
