  1. Well the final impedance loads you can get ties into whether or not this is a good deal. I would personally pass on it.
  2. I'm retarded when it comes to computers, how will this work out for random daily use? Tell me some things about it that a technologically retarded guy from Louisiana can understand... And don't mention Alligators lol. I am interested In this
  3. Kynto, that's the kind of information I'm looking for (technique as opposed to just trial and error.) Wish Ray could chime in. I understand what your saying Dustin, would I also test the resonant frequency with certain things postioned for optimal scoring on the TL? (Like seats forward/visors down [shit like that]?) Going read through those links now.
  4. Though I don't have hands on experience with the SA-12, I still don't think it will work well in 1.2ft^3
  5. Thanks for the information Dustin, I never considered using a sealed enclosure to find the resonant frequency, I would have just used a ported box which, as you mentioned, would probably have it's own peak. Any more information (or links to sources) about 1/4 wave theory?
  6. Let's bump this up, anyone feeling generous with some knowledge?
  7. We just got punked! 6 3.5ks is still insane, pictures soon please. Gonna be nice to see the F150 playing with some monster power
  8. Louisiana CRX is selling one on CA.com, http://www.caraudio.com/forums/amplifier-classifieds/520257-big-%24%24-amps-4-sale-cactus-warhorse-dd-rd-ma.html Good luck finding one mate
  9. ^^^ Torres Box Calculator, you can find it stickied in the Subwoofer/Enclosure subforum.
  10. Maybe we can start up a fund for Fecupe so he can test this out in his SPL Gain thread.
  11. Can't wait to get my hands on some! Don't clown me but I'm shaking right now lol, I didn't expect to win some...
  12. You have a 9515, if you feed it some power and the box is designed well, it should not sound like a flappy ass slappin together lol.
  13. local shop got dblink for 80 bucks. 2k. will that be good to run with the crescendo bc/2000 He recommended DB Drive, not DB Link. From my findings the DB Link is small wire in a large jacket, no good.
  14. I have a Tsunami 1/0awg install kit headed my way I can part with. Let me know if your interested
  15. Resin alone does not add much strength to an enclosure. Resin+glass mat, however, does
  16. I believe the Crecendo does rated at a lower voltage. [email protected]@1ohm, as opposed to [email protected]@1ohm.
  17. 2400w at 2ohm strapped, which is a 1ohm load on each amplifier. To get a 1ohm load on the pair, each amplifier would see .5ohm nominal.
  18. Thank you both, glad to see I'm making a wee bit of sense lol. Zx, that's the kind of information I am looking for, appreciate it. And 727, yes I want to learn a bit more about the quarter wave, and the science behind enclosure design in general. I'm not enough of an SPL guy either, and I do not have the funds nor knowledge to test what I assume is many variables. So, I'll sit back and see if I can learn a bit from the vets.
