  1. for the mirror I just keep star drivers in the car and take it down before I bump- then pop it back in for the wife.
  2. Shouldn't have any problems as long as you set your filters right and have a good charging system.
  3. ? It's black. It's RF wire with translucent insulation- the black negative/ground wire, not burnt up lol. His setup really moves some air on those low notes, and just sounds great doing it. I was amazed at the way it sounded, especially off 2k watts (though those amps are underrated).
  4. Derrick on here has 2 18" BLs with a rf 1000.1 each. At the last show he did 147.9 with no tuning on the boxes- and at a pretty low freq. Best thing to me is how great they sound doing that too. Would a btl be louder? Maybe with more power, but unless you want to drop a ton into your electrical I think they'd be a great choice.
  5. I got hired as an installer a while back, they never tested me, so hopefully they wont test you either- they just always ask 'will you take a test'. Drink a lot of water, flush out the system. How long do you have before you'd have to take the test? good luck with the job.
  6. Shatter the glass of cars around it lol. "That dude in the last vid is just fuckin retarded... " ^x2
  7. I was reading the specs off their website earlier this week, they state the sensitivity as 'emo'. absolutely crazy looking regardless.
  8. Maybe you could offer a better location for the normal car (not for those with a wall)? I've been considering a good place to put everything, so it really would be appreciated.
  9. Just spent a shit ton of cash to finally get the subs/amps I want just to have my h/u die the day the shit comes in.. Fuck That! I really don't want to pay $600+ on a cd-player I can get offline for 300, but I have to go on a 4-5hour round trip drive with my father in law with no music unless I buy from a store- FUCK THAT.
  10. I don't know. With larger vehicles and smaller amps you really can fit them under the seat without people even knowing they're there. And there comes a point when you run out of places to put things.. I think if you keep things zipped tight and screwed down where people can't see them they're pretty safe. as long as nothing is sticking up to get caught on moving seats I still say it's safe. I like the idea of that better than screwing to the back of a sub, or putting in plain view to be seen and stolen
  11. I think fight night is a great game (resistance of course), but I'm really in bunches about the new Grand theft auto coming out. They're promising some pretty big things from it. I believe that comes out the beginning of october, as well as final fantasy and some others around the same time.
  12. It's not that hard with large windows like that, normally they're surrounded by hollow metal panes that don't help anything As said above, just about any store with big windows should do it. A lot of audio shops have windows like that, and wouldn't mind you parking in front of them to find out either
  13. Sounds good then. I'm trying to see if 35s will fit without needing to be lifted on my hoe, so I guess it just depends on how much (or I should say how little) rubber you want I guess with rims like that I should've assumed almost none.
  14. I'd finish off the audio setup first. When you're driving you don't see your rims, may sit up higher, but they don't do you any good. With your ghetto-blaster going you'll be noticed anyway, and music will sound decent when driving any time. Plus you should put the weight of all that equipment in to see how your suspension likes it, and if there will be any changes needed to fit those rims.
