  1. Thats some flex! It's really looking loud, not safe to drive with that steering wheel movement lol, looking forward to a demo. I've got to say every time I see your vehicle in vids/pics I think how it's an extremely well rounded build.
  2. Get a 2way alarm, it'll come in handy more than you would think. Also there is a little piece inside the steering column that turns with the key. In 20 seconds you could break off the cover and start the truck with a screw driver if your alarm doesn't disengage the starter. Glad you got lucky.
  3. Maybe it would help for you to list a budget and people could offer some suggestions? There are other good batts out there especially if you aren't looking to break the bank.
  4. 1 run every 250-300 amps, so you would want at least 2. Do a run off each alt to the back. Also connect both alts output post with a short run of wire.
  5. ^but with 2 6.5s were they wired to what load? If they're 8ohm speakers, then even 4 ohms would be like 60rms per speaker. If they were svc 4 ohm speakers you're talking about 2 ohms at best, so 175 rms per speaker @ 60rms each? Edit- just clicked the link, reading > me
  6. Gotcha, yeah I have a rott/lab mix my wife wants to keep inside, but I kick his ass out during the day (fenced in yard). Anyway, those ports are nice, got an equipment list?
  7. Lol, you need to vacuum man! Regardless, I'm tuned for equipment
  8. Good luck, where's the salesmanship? Sounds like you're a Chevy guy to me
  9. And you have to add Tommy Mckinnie (King of Bass) aka Ho Problems to the people. IA made the king of bass sub for him lol Adassa Alphasonic Actually I just thought, why not go here: amp guts massive list
  10. Darvex wiring Q Power makes wire, speakers, and subs. Quantum Audio makes speakers, amps, and subs. Realm Audio makes speakers, amps, and subs. "Blues" car audio makes speakers/subs. Treo makes subs/amps T3 makes speakers as well as subs Excessive Amperage - alternators Motor City Reman - alternators Mean Green - alternators HO - alternators Power Bastards - alternators Rush Power Systems - alternators Powerbank- Batteries battcap - batteries SVR - Batteries Shuriken - Batteries Too many to list, but those are a few.
  11. BTL worked great for me in that space.
  12. < Me. I had a 2wd Yukon, and after a bunch of equipment in back it looked lowered. I could still get 20+ mpg on road trips which was great. Now my 4wd + tow package Tahoe holds the weight a LOT better, it sits level with the extra 1000+ lbs. I only get 14-15mpg on the highway though. With the number of times I've used 4x4 to pull others out of holes and keep myself from needing a tow truck it's been worth a few mpg. Anyway keep it up
  13. epic. Not everyone knows what that smell is- especially the people who don't know to turn it down when they hear distortion out the ass. There's a lot of that in my area too- want-to-be thugs I mean.
  14. Work out in the evening, its best for losing weight. Walking, jogging, then running should be your focus over weights. A mixture of both helps though. stay under 2000 calories! Obviously eat lots of vegetables, start meals with a large salad - no dressing to curb your appetite for the fatty, good stuff. Eat a large beakfast, I eat fruit and like 4 bowls of mini-wheats, about 800 calories, a med lunch, and a small dinner no later than 6. No soda or sports drinks. I lost 20 lbs a month this way. Running at least a half hour a day 5 days a week will really speed up your weight loss if you don't rationalize an extra dessert as a reward.
  15. I would not use Memphis amps again. Below 12.5v they don't hold up long- at least they didn't when I was using them a few years back. I sold mine for like 600 each used. A dealer can sell them for 1200 or less (or did to me anyway). Both amps are great and unless you're competing for a few 10ths are both great products. I would really buy based on price.
  16. ^ Upgraded front battery, big 3, 2 runs of 1/0, a dual alternator setup, and 2 D3100s or similar battery. If you want to keep 14v you need to have the same alternator output at idle as your amps pull. The moment your alternator can't keep up with the demand you will see voltage drop. One h/o alt with 2 d3100s and an upgraded starter battery would be my first move. There is nothing wrong with 13v, if you rarely see below 13v it's probably not worth the money for you to upgrade your charging system any more. If you must have 14v you need multiple alternators.
  17. Its really a square external port, since a slot must be internal. I used one in a box for a type-x. It sounded pretty good and did a decent number from a trunk.
  18. This. If you have the kind of current draw that requires 2 alternators it may not be necessary but I like to use 1/0 for all connections.
  19. x100. Very few shops can install an alarm properly, and teaching how to do so is time consuming.
  20. I'm not sure about GA but in SC suv/truck laws are different than cars. You could do a van/truck/suv with a wall no problem, but a car you would get a ticket if you can't see out of your rear sides and back window. All the suggestions I would give have been mentioned.
  21. I think shit happens. I've had metal work done for me that was supposed to take 1-2 days and been fucked over to where it took over a month. Lost money on it so I had someone else do the work and had the same shit happen there- which by then I could've had the 1st shops order. If you're getting responses from the company and they're actually trying to make things right for you I'd see how it goes. Once I wasn't expecting some parts for a few days, but then an item lost by UPS was found and I got it back- giving me +1 in stock lol. I've worked lots of places where things randomly turn up- especially the bigger companies where things go through lots of hands. Saw the harness pics- I've ordered a dozen harnesses and had 2 show up one day, 4 the next, and 6 the next week- all from different warehouses. I don't know the details but again if the company is trying to make things right I would chill out.
