    what exactly is it...? lol n00by question I'm not the best person to answer that question because I wont be 100% accurate but I'll try It can help boost frequencies that you normally wont get from my understanding i'm sure it does more, someone with more knowledge on this subject should chime in.

    Are you going sealed because of limitations on space? Or because you want SQ? Because you can get good SQ out of ported enclosures.

    Almost Everyone will say that JL costs too much money for what you get (price to performance ratio). Their deffinatly is great subs and amps out their that cost alot less.

    You could'nt get a ported box there instead? It should be quite a bit louder if built/designed right. If you're looking to be the loudest you can be for what ya got.

    No all subs should react the same as long as you dont wire them up wrong or their out of phase. What are the dimensions of the box and port? Btw my all my ports are on one side of the box.
