Yea that current will pop the stock fuse i doubt it would burn up. I had ran 2 4 awg then switched to a single 0awg the 0 made a huge diff. You can put 4awg in a 0awg holder

Sound deadener in the trunk. No not if you sealed off. Gorrilla tape might do the trick. When your committed get the sray foam/insulator stuff it works great

Yes you could possibly do away with the stock positive since almost 300 amps of current will be passing through it, but im not sure what else is connected to the stock wiring but you could always take out the stock fuse an add a 300amp fuse to it just to keep the stock and have 0awg. Yes fuse the 0awg close to the batt. In the back

Keep the stock positive if you want i did. Just run your positive from the alt back to the batt. Just fuse itclose to the batt

Haha. Well all i was tryn to do was help this dude out. It did what i wanted it to do which is help with flex, and sound deaden. It might not work as well as other things out there but it most deff made my ride alottt quieter. OP i apologize to you if i misled you maybe what worked for me wont work for everyone

Peel n seal actually deadened for me while changing the resonance freq. It doesnt stink and it hasnt came off my doors and still stickn just as good as when it was put on i think you might want to actually read up on the definitions of the words being used. also, im not going to continue this debate. i could go into detail but this was not intended to be a PEEL and SEAL thread. thats a really generic answer, some cars are not unibody and are welded together, and having just a ground spot in the back will cause horrible voltage drops, it all depends on the car, most of the time it is fine, if you are doing a huge build with lots and lots of power then its worth it to tun that negative wire back there, you will not only get steady voltages, but will be better for your amps as they dont have to deal with a shitty ass ground, also you have to have the same size ground wire as the positive wire, so if you use a distro block with lets say 3 8gauge wires coming out, then you need to make sure that you positive going into the amps are 8 gauge, and if that power wire is to small then you need to upgrade both neg and postive to bigger wire, it has to complete a curcuit. Yea it was "generic" but to the point i doubt hes running crazy amounts of power so i dont think it would matter in his situation although it might i was just letting him know that he didnt have to do the negative that way he could just ground it in the back and as long as he had 0/1 awg wire goin to the distro and no more than a couple 4awg or 3 8awg it should be fine imho

You would just measure the port itself.

Btw running a negative from the front battery to the back battery is not necessary just ground it in the back. You could ground in 1 spot in the back and use a distrobution block to have spots for a few wires.

As long as your 2nd battery has 1 ground spot your fine, but the front battery needs 2 grounds 1 to the chasis and 1 to the engine block
