Yeah I heard good things about those just can't afford a new headunit right now. Can anyone suggest a good mp3 player with good sound quality. I was looking at a Sony for $89.99 that claims to have CD quality sound.

Unfortunatly I have to much bass now for my headunit to handle without skipping like crazy(eclipse cd5423). I've never used an mp3 player and my wife has an ipod but only has an FM transmitter to run it in the car which I don't care for. I think my headunit has an 1/8'' phone plug connection in the back for external devices such as mp3 players. So I guess my question is does anyone have a setup like this and know what the cord looks like and also what are some good units to use? Is the sound quality anywhere near as good with the same amount of bass as a CD?

I have the 2.2 also. I believe factory is 2 inch. Mine has 2.25 inch with a magnaflow muffler, pretty deep sound without being a ricer

If you wired them in parallel thats a 1ohm load. Not good for that amp!!!

Do you have alot of voltage drop with the T2ks?

That would work I have three brand new 4inch kits already that I was gonna use for an older build. So would it still be 13.71'' for 3 of them and also is that from flare to flare or just the center section?

They will be external so they can be as long or short as needed to achieve 38hz. Not 100% sure what you mean by how deep they are

Can someone please tell me how much port area two 4 inch ports would be? I'm buildiing an enclosure for my new setup, 3 cubes net with external ports. Looking for 36-40 sq. inches tuned to 38hz.

I just picked up a sheet of 3/4 inch birch for my next box build and wanted to fiberglass the inside due to not having room for internal bracing. I was looking at Tapplastics website and I'm confused about what oz. mat to get and also can I just use resin or do I need to use a hardener also?

Would it fit a 2001 S-10 with 2.2L without major modification?

I'm getting ready to try the same thing with one of my 3515ds. I'm going to hook it up to the 20001bd I just got (3-3.5 cubes with about 40-50 sq. in. of port area @ 38hz and see how it does. Mine are rated at 1200rms, 2400music, 4800peak

I wonder if that sub would have taken the power longer in a smaller box like 3-3.5 cubes per sub. Maybe i'm wrong but I thought that was one of the ways meade is able to run 2x the rms on his subs(small enclosure with reduced port area).
