Today I was driving along listening to some music, then my cab filled with smoke and i could here sparks so i brought the car to the shop and looked at it and it turns out to be when I was showing this kid my system he messed with my wire ( not intentionally) and he bumped my post so the wire was touching my neg post. The post burnt through to the positive wire, and we all know what happens when positive and negative touch. It didnt invert the charge , but my new XS D3400 is toast, and totally voided the warranty. Anyone one else have shitty luck today?

ha it's cool.. i just turned 17. Damn .... Ima check into the RF right now i'm just recommending what i've had experience with, i'm sure anything else you pick will sound great, but most setups i've heard running alpine type-r comps, kenwood excelon comps, all these other companies that everyone knows about, they always run off of headunit power so there's no way of really telling how good they sound. What do you reccomend for running 4 speakers of off?

would i be able to hear vocals over bass? right now i have crap for speakers, only 2 in the front, i took the two in back out , the holding brackets snapped in half from bass lol. Thats what u get from buying cheap walmart speakers lol

Time for me to start saving for some real good mids/ highs that I can clearly hear over my 9515 DD . I wan't something that instead of just the bass impressing people, I wnt the vocals to be truly amazing soundquality that can be heard over the bass. I have been looking for a while and found some focals, but any other opinion will be taken to thought. I have a space up front for 2 6", and in back for 6X9. So if anyone can give me a heads up with what to buy it will be appreciated. Thank you!

That's still chokingly small. I would say ~60 sq in of port as a minimum (I'm using 73 for my current box) What's your port shape? I didn't mean it like total area of port, 16sq in per cube. Sorry i didn't explain it better! haha. I built a box for a XL 18, Has 6.06 after, and 18 sq in per cube with 114 sq in of port area. Just to give you a rough idea though. Oh, my bad. I thought you meant total LOL. In that case stick to 12-16 sq in per cubic foot. I like to err towards the larger side of a port when possible yeah im actually making a new box right now, and snowdrifter that alright haha, i was assuming u ment total
