It's no problem at all dude. I've been through the ins and outs of that car many times. Another thing to check is the alternator belt. Make sure it's not too loose or tight, and also check the mounting bolts on the alternator. If one of them just happened to wiggle a little bit loose, then it will screw up the tension on the belt, causing an occasional slip, resulting in a fluctuation of voltage.

It's not the big 3, unless there is a loose connection somewhere. There should be some kind of date on the battery, usually a sticker, that should say when it was made or shipped to the store. And usually after a full discharge, or a close to full discharge like you had, it's pretty hard for a lead acid battery to recover fully, so I would recommend seeing if you could get a shop to do an battery load test on it to see if it has a bad cell. And yes, I remember your car so well just for the fact that my first car was a 98 Escort ZX2

Oh shit, yea you should be good. If you can get your hands on a DD-1 or an O-Scope, I'd recommend doing checking it just to be safe.

What amp are using? That Boss amp in your sig? If so, I'd say turn the gains down a little bit. You may be getting 1400.... But it would be a very very dirty 1400 watts.

People have been known to put more power to them. I'd say that you can stay safe at 1200.

They are extremely nice amps, clean, durable, and affordable. I'd say you can't go wrong with them. I'm picking up 2 BC2000's for my next build, just can't beat the price/power point.

You can look at the motor and tell the difference. M1 has one hole on the back. M2 has more than one hole. I think 6 or 7. Not entirely sure on the rated difference though.

I just want to reitterate this. I DD-1'd my buddies setup, he was running an AQ2200.... WAS.... He texted me and told me to check out the new Big Krit, "it goes hard" he said lol. Sounds good. Don's Jeep has 6 XS Power batts I believe, and a 270amp alt. We're planning on doing a rebuild on it in the next few weeks. He's currently doing 150's + on music and only drops down to mid 13's on voltage after about 10 minutes at full tilt.
