I think the only line I've heard bad reviews about was the hfi series, the bxi and the brz have treated me well.

Just don't go crazy setting your gains and you should be fine. When I go full tilt for minutes at a time, it'll get a little warm, but not too hot to the touch.

I've got shitty electrical and I'm running my bxi1610 at .5 daily. No problems, no heat issues. Not really shitty electrical... Stock 70 amp alt, regular Honda battery, big 3, and 0 gauge from the battery to the amp.

I would say cross reference that ip with members here, but I'm pretty sure that's time consuming as hell. Just throwing this out there, because I think the entire situation is fucked up.

The first two are the images for it that area, just from different views. Yea, Dismal Swamp catches on fire EVERY year around the same time. You think there would be preventative measures taken lol.

I know it doesn't solve the problem, but it will help with my voltage drop for the time being. I am definitely getting an alternator next. I was planning on ordering one this week, but my brothers wedding was this weekend and I was the best man and I ended up spending about 2 grand more than expected, but it's all good. Does anyone know who makes, or who can make a decent alternator for a Civic? Stock one is 70 amps and it sucks lol, and the only after market ones I've seen are 140 amps for around $600. Anyone know of the other options? Thanks, Adam
