No its a center port. I almost feel as the one that gets warm is moving normally (besides getting warm) and the other is not moving near as much as it should be on 3500 watts. Only thing I can think is the wedge in the back of the port seems off a little bit. Could that do it? Its a slightly smaller gap on the less moving woofer side than the warm one. I just hate the thought of rebuilding the damn wall

Hello, Well I'm a having a little problem with my btl 15(s) I have 2 N2 15's in a ported enclosure tuned to 33hz on 2 Crescendo BC3500's. Everytime I start to beat on them one woofer gets a warm dust cap (NOT HOT). I wait untill it cools down and then When I go to play again I can smell what i think is burning coil. :S Also the one that gets warm moves a good bit more than the other on the same power. The amp on the woofer that gets warm also gets warmer than the other amp... This is not a new issue but I don't want to blow a n2 because of something preventable. I'm afraid to crank it up for any legnth of time. INFO I set my amps with a DD-1 at -5db. I never play over my distored volume on my HU. I also matched the amps output with a DMM. They are the same. And the coils read fine. Could it me by box? I'm "baffled"

No, I don;t think it was the fan. It was a solid whistle. The charger was sitting on a flat peice of wood in the middle of the room. I have used it a couple of times sine and everything seemed fine so I'll just monitor it.

It's a scam, I got the same thing when I tried to sell my car a while back. He offered me more than what I was asking sight unseen and said he will get a shipper to pick it up..... SCAM. They will take your car and never pay you.

Ok, Thanks for the Info. It's Knu kolossus 1/0 OFC I have tinned copper lugs with a 12 ton hydraulic crimper so the terminals should be ok. Also I know the alt wont put out 1000 amps but will that batt bank have anything to do with it?

I may give this a try. But it wouldn't be a very good ground. It would litmit the whole system to one 1/0 wire for a ground. I think there would be too much resistance. That MLA should bee here maybe this week or next so I may try that first to see what results I will get. I wish I could just take the car to the dealer and tell them to remove that whole system or make it work! lol ,Thanks

Also, Sorry to double post. The timing chain is on passenger side also so thats out of the question. Only thing I remember is the Windshiels washer tank is in that location but Fluid just comes out on the ground when I pour it in. haven;t got a new one yet. just brainstorming. It's really hard to see down in there, very tight. Also I know the serpentine belt is on the passenger side so it can't be that. Where is this belt located? I cant see any EDIT: These cars have Electic power steering also. Its a G5 Pursuit. if that helps

I have a weird sound coming from over the front drivers side tire. It does it at idle. It sounds like when you pull up a zipper except it's constant until you rev the motor. and sometimes it fluctuates. Almost like a zippery whining sound. It has always done it but I just seem to be noticing it more now for some reason. I've asked people and they go oh It's nothing. Just would like to know what it could be. Almost like something spinning. Engine is an Ecotec 2.2L 2006. Thanks

It don't matter how much he solders it. If its still loose it is not making a very good connection either way.

Did you tighten the wire in the amp? it shouldn't come out. Also Knu 1/0 is closer to 2/0.
