  1. Looks nice, very clean. I would get it, of course, but I don't have 350$. At least that's the lowest I could find it on a quick google search. Thanks for the suggestion, maybe if I get a job soon, I can afford that. Ebay has them for around 300$
  2. Anybody ever build one? Best way to do it? Any pictures! Its almost that time of year again! Topic should of been River Radios. Not river coolers. my bad

  4. Pioneer AVH3200DVD, I've heard nothing but good things. But it is only a 5.8inch screen with some buttons. So if your looking for a full touch screen, AVH4300 would be a good choice. In my opinion.
  5. Dude its not rocket science to run 0g and then a distro to get 2 4ga out of it. Honestly if you can afford the 0g id say get it now for future expansion. Hell i changed my system so many times in one year that i went with 8ga, to 4ga, to 1/0 gauge in 6 months. Id say get 1/0, then get the distro block and then get two short runs of 4ga wire. I think you will waste more money to get two runs of 4ga from your batt to your amps than to just run 1/0 with a distro block and then two short runs of 4ga. Plus if you do run two 4ga wires, think of what you may do in the near future with upgrading your subs and amps. I think its better to buy things right the first time around than to keep blowing money on making it right. jeeeese sorrry distro block it is...
  6. But since I have to run 0 wire to the distro block and then run 4 to both amps, wouldnt it just save me time to run 4g straight from the batt? seems like im making more work for myself.
  7. Hey all! My name is Zane Clossey. Currently serving in the US Military. My dad used to work for Pioneer in the 90's and also was a judge for many car audio competitions. Since I've been in Iraq ( almost done only 2 more months ). Ive been talking with one of my friends who knows a lot about car audio, so I decided I wanted to build a system. For about 2 months now I've been reading/researching/cramming my brain every time I get a chance. Ive been slowing buying my system and components and other doo-hickies for when I return I can start right away. Some of you notice I have had a lot of question threads, but believe me, I only post when I cannot find a straight answer! Anyways, I hope to become a long time member here, and as I learn more, hopefully at some point I can share some knowledge I have learned. Hope to see you guys around the forums, looking forward to it!
  8. KonFUSED High Current In-Line Fuse Holder can get 350amp or 450amp in line fuse. ( i think this is what your looking for, just trying to help )
  9. Hey Hey... put the Gun down and then we can talk.... lmao... Now why would I shoot the people who have turned a person who knew NOTHING about car audio, to a person confident in building their own system in a matter of months? I love this place
  10. If I was to use a reducer - http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=SSGR0 and amp only fits 4ga. would it hurt the amp any running 1/0ga to it with a reducer?
  11. Thanks for the idea. Still wondering if anyone knows for sure that the PDX 4.100 and 1.1000 do not accept 1/0 power/ground cable.
  12. That or you could use a reducer. I believe stinger sells them. Wouldn't it make more sense to buy a splitter since im running it to 2 amps?
  13. Can I run 1/0 power and ground cables to my alpine PDX 4.100 and my 1.1000? I heard that the PDX only accept 4 gauge?
  14. bought one last night haha. Ended up going with 1 PDX f4 and 1 PDX 1.1000 for my 2 12" Type-Rs
  15. Would the Alpine MRP- f300 suffice? the speakers are rated 110watts RMS each side, so that times 4 is 440watts RMS total for the 4 speakers, and the MRP-f300 is rated for Per Channel 50ws @ 4ohm.. would that be under powering them? Which amp would be best for this set up
  16. I cant come to a conclusion on what amp would run 4 Alpine SPR-60C Type-Rs Components. I would like to stick with a Alpine amp, but open to suggestions.
  17. Yes, it will be for daily use. And that is what I was worried about, was if I would have to get a HO Alt since is going to be used daily. But the D5100R and the Big 3 Should be alright for daily use
  18. I have a 2007 Honda Civic LX with 2 12" Alpine Type - Rs with MRP-m1000 and 2 SPR-60C up front running of a MRP-f300. should I run 2 batteries and one. and if so which one?
  19. So are you saying switch out the battery under the hood and get a second battery? If so, what size/voltage/amperage batteries?
