  1. http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KCA4BL also 20ft of good quality 4 ga for 25 shipped or get less if you need less.
  2. and also, do bolt the amp ground to your frame. thats the best ground besides running directly to a battery negative
  3. goodluck with work and your financial situation man. it does take time to build up when money is tight. a lot of guys like me buy the stuff pieces at a time till its all done. hard work makes it even more exciting at the end. im a full time student, on the track team, so only tine to work is breaks and summer. but save up and it will all ocme together. i would recommend upgrading to 4 ga power and ground and see if that solves yojur problems.
  4. Finally coming over from the dark side edit: hold up, just realized this post was from the summer. When i saw your wall being built im like thats not for 10s ahaha. disregard my post
  5. yes really http://www.hifonics.com/Hifonics_Brutus_BRZ_Amps.html "Link N’ Sinc Linking Capability BRZ 2100.1D and BRZ 2400.1D"
  6. it doesn't really matter the length of speaker wire unless it is too small of gauge. are you sure you need 20ft to get form amp to sub? mine runs throuhg the vent to sub from amp and i only needed 6. but if your running that long of a run bigger wont hurt you. id try 10 gauge just to be safe.
  7. im not knocking your system, sorry did mean it to come off like that, im knockingg the water trick. usually most are embarassed by trunk rattle. plus you didn't show your system off at all in the first video, just your trunk rattling and water coming out of a cup. thats just gay in my opinion. but i like the 2nd video. nice work
  8. Good job. It is very possible to get 1500w from stock electrical. Stock electrical is all car dependent. You dont know what hes driving. thats why i said unles car comes with 0 or 2 gauge wires. he wont get a true 1500rms unless he has a bat bank or something to supply that amperage and keep voltage up. i run my 1500rms + on sstock electrical too. do i actualllly get 1500rms, prolly not at the moment, yea it runs, but how well. and yes it is car dependent.
  9. well yea i saw that. but i used to run a JL 500/1 and thought the SQ and musicality of basss was unmatched, DD is pretty darn close thou. But good stuff.
  10. already had it before this post and i definetly agree with you!!
  11. tuned in. looking to see you slamming with whatever you choose. you really can't go wrong with either
  12. no no no. not 3-3.5 cubes for a 12. i mean like a range from 2.4-2.8. maybe 3 max if you are underpowering them and with special circumstances. or powering right at 1200rms. there is such thing as too big too. but most people skimp on space not give too much. don't mean to bash you man but a 12 inch DD will not like over 3 cubes. especially if overpowered. When i say don't sufficate i mean don't give it only 1.8 or 2 cubes. around 2.5 and 40 square inches is a good benchmark. dont deviate to much form that. just a lil bit ahah
  13. thanks alot man the input very much appreciated iv been turned onto DC by 412 cvx so im looking into the lvl 4s and the 3512s very deeply only thing that will keep me with the DD right now is that they have a rep literally 5 min from my house and there is no DC rep in my state so these are the only issues im seeing right now but thank you alot don't let a rep turn you off of 1 company or another. DC and DD both have great customer service over the phone (at least form my experiences) and yuo can easily order from if you don't have a dealer in your area. But since I run DD you know my vote. But you'll love the DC as well. In th end what do you want your sub to look like? cause both will bang.
  14. I don't even know how he is running 1500 true rms off of completely stock electrical. physically that is impossible unless your car comes stock with 2 or possibly 0 gauge wiring and a beefy bat. its not reccommended to run that amp at .5 even if you do have a electrical to back it up. Is it the BDCP version? If so run it at 2 ohms and you be at about same power maybe slightly less.
