yea his truck was on.. his little 50 or 60 amp alt cannot keep up.. also dropping to 10v like that.. your amp will NOT NOT NOT last for much longer. when u voltage drop like that it hurts EVERYTHING.. cars computer fuel pump all that.. if i was you id turn that amp wayyy down before you end up wasting your money . big 3 upgrade and another battery might be enough to sustain 12v or higher

i have my skar vvx 12s in 4 cubes net and i currently run a audioque 3500d on them at 1/5ohm.. NOW with that being said i only have the gains set for about 2200 rms.. and the subs reach max safe excursion and they take it all day long.. i did have a saz1500 at 1/2ohm on them... but that wasnt enough

he did have a poker face goin there.. but if u watch closely in both videos u can see him takin deep breaths and holding it in.. it was hurting him he just didnt wanna admit it.. bc itll hurt his "manly" attitude

ive got a bunch of batteries in my shed.. all metal construction... most summer days it gets 150 in there... and no issues i did have a standard lawnmower battery that swelld up and leakd all over my shelf

^^ port area for aeros is way different than port area for slot ports.. go 8 cubes gross volume then the ports and woofers and bracing

my last box i did.. was for 2 15" psi reconed tc9s did exactly 7.3 cubes gross volume (gross volume meaning literally a sealed box before any ports in etc etc)... i did 4 4" aeros tuned at 32hz and it was gravy 2 4" ports wouldnt be nearly enough port area if u wanna improve ur handyman skills u can get some thin walld pvc pipe from lowes or home depot..and heat the ends up and force them over a heavy duty bowl to get the "flared" affect.. ive used both and success with both

generally u wanna be port distance away from the hatch.. so if u got a 4inch wide port need to be 4inch away from loading wall..BUT depending on application u can move it closer or further away and see how it sounds by ear

i came across a similar issue when i built the box for my beretta 2 skar vvx 12s in 4 cubes 28hz 16per.. i wasnt going to sacrifice box volume.. becuase that would mean changing how the amps moounted and everything.. so i sat there thinking for literally 2 mins..and yelled out "honey get me the sawzaw" cut the little side panel things out and bam box fit lovely

so say fuck it..and go that extra 1 or 2 inchs above that seat..so ur subs will be happier..and itll be easier to view excursion from the front also

damn let me see what i can do to boost the box volume, other wise does everything else seem fine, make sure you do like double baffle sub plate and dont be shy with braces.. always use wood glue.. and liquid nails if u wann aget a reall good seal inside right i'm planning on using 3/4 birch for walls and sides, and hardwood for moldings and bracing. planning on using titebond 2 for holding together the baffles and to seal up where the walls meet for a "newb" u sure do have a fucking great idea on where and how to start

i wouldnt sacrifise port area for a tad more volume..i would however tune it a shave higher..maybe 33 34hz..shit if u want to mount the subs inverted.. see if you can go maybe 1 or 2 more inches taller see what that does
