me and my brother built one with a briggs 26 horse engine, did an exhaust, pulley swaps, deck delets, ford ranger wheels on the back, fiberglass front nose, headlights , and a candy green and black paint job. it ran 46 mph. also on most mowers theres a breather hose on the rearend, get a catch can for like a turbo car or jus any old universal kit its like 20 bucks on ebay. cause when u run the pulley swap its gonna cause the rearend to push the oil outta it under acceleration. this way u can allow it to drain back into the rearend when it cools.

why not jus do a sr20 swap. cheap and powerful with alot of room to grow. ka motors are aweful.

ive always been into cars, ever since i was a kid. when i got my first car of course everybody else was puttin stuff in their rides, so i wanted to as well. so i guess i did it cause the Chicks dig it lol. but im glad i did cause now i dont get wreckless driving tickets cause i jus like to cruise loud and low!

It could be the crossover in the sony amp. My friend had one is his car once, and one day the crossover literally jus took a shit in the amp causing the speakers to "jump" with the volume on the headunit all the way down. Try switching the filter settings over to hpf when it starts doin it and see if it stops. If it does more than likely the amp crossover took a shit. atleast that is what my friend was told when he took the amp to a local stereo shop to have it inspected.

only get a grand prix gtp or a regal gs if ur goin 3800 v6. if the cavalier is a dohc ecotec cavalier then yes go for it or if its the quad motor. if its jus a regular ole 2.2 liter then hell no. I owned one and they are slow as dog shit and dont do any better on gas than the v6 would. same highway about 20 city. look around and find u a grand prix between 97-2002 gtp version. u can get them pretty cheap prolly in ur price range, and they will last a long time as long as they are maintenced. if u want sumthin with good economy and power, theres ur band for the buck. atleast in ur price range in my opinion.

first off what hasnt been discussed here is ur budget? ive had all of em, from i4's, v6's, and v8's. Depending on what ur price range is, what u wanna spend on gas and insurance each month will be plays a key factor in it as well. so depending on availability of the cars in ur area, ur price range, and allowances for gas and insurance all play a key part in ur final decision. if u can afford the insurance and gas, go with a domestic v8 car/truck, because if its domestic, most of the time parts are available and cheap. but if money is limited and u dont want to spend big bank on gas and insurance look into forced induction smaller engines, like the turbocharged and supercharged i4's and v6's. hell ive had several cars, and the one car i liked most that had good balance of power and economy was my 99 pontiac grand prix gtp. its a 3.8l v6 supercharged car. got pretty good gas mileage and made plenty of power. plus they take simple mods like intake/exhaust well and make alot of power relatively cheap. I did a intake, a smaller pulley on the supercharger, cat back exhaust, and a tune and was makin 301 whp, and 347 wtq. and still got 28 highway 22 town.

lol but man ur doin it wrong, u gotta hook up the flux capacitor to properly power these bad boys, if u dont ur jus clipping them with dirty signal and they dont function properly. these B.A.S.S. subs will cause a rip in the time space continium if operated correctly. lol
