  1. thanks for the advice.ill give them a call in the morning. this is my first and its gotta have style. its from a dealer so should i get a warranty with it? If you can get the best warranty possible. How many miles and has it ever been in an accident. Definitely ask for a vehicle history report. I would also check for rust.
  2. ^^^This plus give some kind of budget that you are willing to spend.
  3. Look at his Socalbamf's avatar pic thats a wall, a very nice wall might I add.
  4. Welcome to the Forum nice start out but I give it a few days of looking through the member builds before he wants to rebuild lol.
  5. Yeah I was going to say the best budget deck I have seen thus far has been the Pioneer DEH-1300MP I think its about $70 and it gets the job done nicely.
  6. There was a guy on here selling 2 BC2000's for I think $300 each
  7. Played with a few in my engineering classes but never thought to ask to borrow one to tune my amp, good thinking
  8. you always know just what to say lol.
  9. The house we're in now is on Harmon Street near Adeline is that North or South. The are seems a little iffy to me but I'm not from round here so I wouldn't really know.
  10. I didn't want to be rude and say but since I am not the first no offense to you we all start somewhere but that box looks like it doesn't produce a good sound I honestly think if you take the time to design a simple slot ported enclosure for those g2's or even a correctly assembled sealed one it will sound beast I really think the box is your issue on this one. Hell for the price of a combo at Mickey d's you can hit up 412CVX and have design something for you. I would step back and think about all the corners you have cut before and address this issue first. The more I think about it BA is not a bs brand and you should be seeing a lower output than that. In short x2 what stone said...your box is probably junk.
  11. Yeah we been out here for 3 weeks now hit up a few spots. The house we rented is in Berkeley and the office is in what I would assume is Downtown Oakland. Our local after work happy hour spot is Luka's don't know if any of you know it. I was given the chance to stay and I am seriously considering it but I want to know I won't have issues considering I have 0 family out here.
  12. I knew that was coming but there has to be areas with no problems right outside of Oakland and I work for a company called Site Logic, we provide e discovery, forensics and other services too law firms.
  13. So I my company has actually extended me an offer to stay in Oakland as the Regional Site Manager and I am giving it a lot of thought because it was an offer I don't to refuse so my question is if I do stay what are some good areas that are safe and nice to look at moving in to. I would need to be near my office which is located at 1999 harrison street.
  14. No, but it is very inexpensive and well worth it. Drop in the bucket for peace of mind that when I finish building the box its going to sound amazing (as long as it is built correctly).
  15. If you want help hit up 412CVX and he will design an entire box for you with measurements and he is very inexpensive. He has built 3 for me and 1 was for a single SA-8 tuned to 34hz so I think he may be your best bet.
  16. i disagree i think the fact that the whole offense had to change mid season and they still had the best season yet shows that set up would have worked very well Honestly I didn't see him as a long term decision I never really drank the Tebow koolaid so I can admit non bias that he was a good QB but would never be anything more than that. He didn't seem as solid as I had hoped he would be.
  17. I noticed no one mentioned the fact that if you change subs that box may not be any good. What is the mounting depth on the box? Wasn't it built to the specs of the G2's you currently have? and since you are buying four subs and have about $400 to spend why not look at getting 2 really nice 10's or 12's that do around 600-750w rms and building a ported box to specs. I think you would really like the sound better than where you are now. That's just my $.02 but if you are dead set on 4 10's look at the MBQuarts or PPI Art class nice budget subs or the Sundown e10 even though I am sure the sundowns and skars sound better ported. With a $400 dollar budget for subs I would really look into getting something worth it and putting more time into build a better quality box. I would venture to say a pair of DC level 3 10's or 12's could be had for a little over $400. I think you would be happier in the long run if you just took the time and got a pair of quality subs.
  18. Anytime you order anything online and there is an issue with it, it kind of puts a damper on your mood but I love SE for their great customer service hope all gets resolved quickly.
  19. That would be a good budget setup but its over the OP's limit and you haven't factored in the box or wiring.
  20. Best I can do on subs would be Skar's B-Stock I think you can find a pair but you may have to spend a few extra bucks (4) VVX-12 D4 - $130 each Shipped in Lower 48 States (2) VVX-10 D4 - $125 each Shipped in Lower 48 States (4) VVX-8 D2 - $100 each Shipped in Lower 48 States (Cosmetic magnet issues, 10/10 Functionality) (4) VVX-8 D4 - $100 each Shipped in Lower 48 States (Cosmetic magnet issues, 10/10 Functionality)
  21. Wiring http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23362_Tsunami-AMP04BL-RCA.html Amp http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23875_MB-Quart-ONX1.1500D.html Make your own box if you have the tools shouldn't cost more that $60 for that and as far as subs I never give recommendations because there is a lot out there to choose from so right now you're at $310 leaving you $190 for a sub or subs.
  22. I was waiting for someone to pull the Half Baked reference I am kind surprised it took so long...classic quit line.
