HU's WITHOUT built in amps?
trainman0978 replied to newls1's topic in Head Units-Processors and Eq's
My old kenwood XXV-01D single din had a internal amp turn off. That unit was a SQ dream.... but complicated to use. And I think the 9887 still sells for less than three hundred. I got mine from Al & Ed's beginning of last year for 249.00 -
the thing that kills me about these shirts is most of the people who wear them don't have tattoos, and then they look at me and my wife like we are trash because we have tattoos, some of which are very visible. Around here, most of the people that wear them look like the people on this site and personally... I think it pretty much fits the bill. Tattoos are not a fashion statement. They are a form of body modification.

Insomniacs
trainman0978 replied to CodyB's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
it is 6:47 eastern time.... Up all night as usual. I work for the railroad though, so it sorta is a requirement.... the weird thing is, I end up having such a weird sleep/awake schedule away from home, and when I get home, I usually end up just staying up until I get tired, sometimes that is 36-40 hours.... -
Steve, tell your boys at RF to mass produce a set of 4 inch comps like those.... I know your are not a comp set, But there is a limited market out there for the 4inch component set as far as choices go. My vehicle in particular has very wide A pillars, and I have seen custom made pods like your for the FJ cruiser... I just don't want to run some JL s that are years old, and have no warranty, I love those speakers they made you. I would certainly buy a set if Rf made 'em.

I came across this on face book. It is 18 minutes long, but these two guys do some WILD shit. The Flute player ( seems gay, but it isn't ) starts out for about two minutes, then the other guy comes up, and I swear, He sounds like a DJ spinning at turntables and sound studio. Watch the whole thing. You will not feel like you wasted any valuable interwebs time on this. They did this at some osrt of Google corporate meeting in London, England a while back Do a search on youtube for beardyman , he has his own page over there http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3kyNGVK-hI

Anyone on here running Snow Leopard yet
trainman0978 replied to Mtgrooves's topic in Computer Talk - News, technology, advice
I put it in last night. For the most part, I can't tell much has changed. Quick time works better, and when you are scrolling through PDF files ( I have ALOT of those , wood working stuff ) you can flip through them and view them with out actually opening them up all the way. I read that it was mostly to make some of the microsoft stuff work better in a office environment. And of course, every program that comes out after this release will take full advantage of the 64 bit technology. -
I really planned on being there.... We decided last night to go see her parents and mess around in D.C. a few days....

trainman0978 replied to Mtgrooves's topic in Computer Talk - News, technology, advice
I will upload it after I get back from a week of vacation. ( I am going up to D.C. , so I am just gonna get it from the apple store instead of ordering it or going to best buy ) I always like going into the apple store. -

trainman0978 replied to meade916's topic in SMD NEWS / ANNOUNCEMENTS
It went down some time between 5 and 7 a.m. east coast time. I can't remember exactly though, I was up all night with the wife while she was finish up her final project for summer quarter... -
I find it absolutely amazing that they can use the CNC to make that MDF as precise as milled steel. You could never pull that off with a table saw and a router. The process is amazing, the result is just plain overkill. Still very, very cool to watch though.
