  1. Dont feel stupid for asking questions dude. I think it'll take a good amp to power all 3. Your final ohm load when they are all wired up to the amp is gonna be 2.67 ohms BEFORE box rise. Once you have measurements on what you can get out of that trunk, I could give a better suggestion. If you have enough(and I feel like you might) id go ported if it were my ride. That AP puts decent power out in the 2 ohm range doesn't it? Subs should definitely face the trunk since your seat won't come down. Once built? You could move it around to see if there was any difference, but firing toward the trunk would be my first try.
  2. Sir space is when autocorrect kicks me in the balls. It was supposed to say AIR space. Haha, sorry for confusion!!!
  3. I don't know what dimensions you have to play with in that trunk. When thinking of how much sir space, you need to figure in air space that the subs AND port will take up. You need around 6 cubes before displacements I'd guess. You'll need about 4.5 cubes of air NET(after port and sub volume). Also, what is the configuration of the subs? Dual 4 ohms or dual 2 ohms?
  4. As long as you set your gains correctly, the kenwood should do just fine for now.
  5. I don't work on commission nor do I ship product, so buying directly from the warehouse is definitely an option. Just give Ken a call and schedule a pick-up/tour. Again, wish I was in AZ sometimes... When I make my way down there, I'll take a pic of myself hugging Ken Thanks for the info man. I can't wait to see the place, I haven't been to Tucson for a few years.
  6. Go with the Brutus, the other HFI is power hungry, and not sure about the RE. The Brutus is proven though.
  7. I've read all of your posts, and youre really overthinking a lot of this. What are the impedances of the tweeters you're choosing, and the mid drivers(8")? That will determine what power you are getting from the amp. And just a little FYI, that amp CAN actually put out more than 400WRMS. Fosgate amps do more than rated. *Edit-You want to run your soundstage in STEREO because mono won't have any left to right differences. It won't give you the true sound in the way it was intended to be heard.
  8. It's weird to me that you'd install headers and a y-pipe and a cold air intake and want a truck that is completely quiet. I can understand if its JUST the drone you dont care for, because no one likes a drone. But wanting it completely quiet is not very realistic with the parts you have installed.
  9. Or you could get creative and run the exhaust all the way to back of truck and bring it through the body of the truck behind the wheel well. I've seen that done, and it looks super trick. Or in front of the wheel well.
  10. Shoot the underside of the tahoe with sound deadener(second skin makes some) or some thick rubber bedliner. Also, have you done turndowns?
  11. Bump for an awesome guy and company. Also, Jon, you mentioned to me(since I'm in AZ) that I could possibly visit the shop in Tucson. Would it be possible to buy product directly from them if I did? If buying from you puts money in your pocket, I wouldn't even consider this. I was only asking if it is an option, and I'm not sure how your guys' operation works totally. Have a nice day
  12. Not to mention a mono amp is for bass. The response will not go much above 250 Hz. No sound will come out of those speakers if it's a class D mono amp.
  13. Um, I like everything VERY much, ESPECIALLY the a-pillars. Good work dude
  14. My b/f needs to shut his effin mouth....I walked into it though. Sorry for the mini thread jack Fish. I'm not sorry for having "feelings" for your Fosgate...
  15. Bwahaha I'll take that challenge...my balls can take a real beating...
  16. Um...I'll paper rock scissors you for dibbs.
  17. Um Fish.....does that mean the sexy POWER 1000 will be going up for sale? droooooooooool....
  18. Thanks for offering such a great deal. I'll show my appreciation by placing an order sometime early next month. I wish I could just SHOW off that sexy black foil on the Damp Pro!!!
  19. Um...not true. They aren't just ANY other amps. I work about 10 minutes from where they make those things. I'm not sure if they totally assemble them in house, or just bench test them, but there's still an operation here in Phoenix. I love my T1000, but would kill to have the 2500. If I go big like you, I'll likely go to DC, because price is better.
  20. Hell yeah I'm stalking you. I wanna have a three way with both of your amps. I'll return them to you in ALMOST new condition
  21. Look up at the other guy that posted(if you're on a computer) and you'll see that there is a banned BANNER on one of the guys screens. He wasn't referring to YOU being banned dude
