I was getting ready for work and my coworker called me and said get a TV on now. He had served in Desert Storm in the Army and was super patriotic. When I got to work we watched a little 12" TV all day while customers came in and watched with us in disbelief. It was very surreal and hard to understand.

Those prime series don't put out MUCH over rated. My R150 puts out 172 according to birth sheet. And that's at 2 ohms, so at 4, it's gonna be real close to rated.

Your sub is set up how on voice coil? That model number doesn't look correct to me. Is it a single 4 ohm coil?

Aren't you the same guy that started a thread talking shit about them a while back? Like why don't more people run them? Interesting that you are looking at buying some....

Power Adder Poll
CleanSierra replied to OrionStang's topic in Engine and Performance - Anything for that couple extra horses!
Haha on the LS swap. I'm surprised AudioConcepts hasn't stepped in yet. He had that Fox body on an LSX turbo motor. If I'm REAL quiet, I might be able to sneak out into the garage and rape dads C5 for the LS1 and 6 speed -

My vote is going for the Turbo. NO parasitic loss to the motor. PLUS you already have the torque so you'll have the low end with motor alone until that thing spools up. Either option you do choose will be totally badass. -

That doesn't even look like 2 cubes altogether. Maybe the box is still be built up vertically? -

Chevy SWAP help
CleanSierra replied to CW06Silvy's topic in Engine and Performance - Anything for that couple extra horses!
I don't think it is identical. I'm not positive, but I think the the HD hood has a little more clearance than the half ton version. Remember the 2001 and 2001 hoods on the HD's compared to the half tons? They were noticeable taller to clear the diesel(and maybe even the 8.1). I'm thinking you'd be solid on the frame mounts for the cab and bed box though. I wouldn't think GM would've made terribly different cabs and boxes with different mounting locations. -

Yes it's possible to switch your cab and box over to the HD frame. I wouldn't suggest trying the reverse of this. Your half ton frame wont handle the twist of that diesel. I've thought aobut the same thing on my little short bed and doing a diesel swap. Everything has to be upgraded to 3/4 ton. Edit-I'm not sure the hood of your 1500 would clear the diesel though. -

You really fixed this problem in 10 minutes? Was it really worth creating a thread and having 3 posts? Couldn't you have just put it in the freezer without posting anything? -
Ok I got it, but it's tuned about mid 35's which should sound badass. H13" W26" D13'. Your port will be H11.5" W1.5" and D30". It can be 30 because it heads toward the back of the box until it's 1.5 inches off of the back wall, then it turns 90 degrees and heads another 15.5 inches. It would have 15.68 inches of port per foot and should be plenty. I guessed the sub displacement at .12 Cubes. can you make a digram of it by any chance i dont get the off the back wall Are you good with a computer? If youre on a computer now, google torres calculator or find it here it this forum and download it. It makes life much easier yea im good with computer but i have that calculator i ment like a picture diagram becuz i dont get the back wall... are you talking like an L port Go to the REaudio.com website and click the box calculator enter your dimensions and whatever it takes for 30 in total port length(think it was 15.5) and you can view it

Correct, but the port can take a 90 degree turn and head parallel with the width on the box
