even if you don't have folding flat seats, you can still lean them down. As long as you keep the seat in the car and it can be reattached. There's no need for two classes. They never used to let you maybe they changed it but when i first tried it they told me know if its supposed to be bolted needs to be bolted Those rules have been around for a while.

What are you saying? That's trunk class dumbass. Plain and simple. If your seats lay flat, fucking do it. Go build you a 157 trunk, better yet, do it with the seats up. Until then gtfo.

God people are fucking stupid.... People have no idea how hard it is to get loud from trunk and still keep it as a legit trunk. Breaking 150 from the trunk is tough.

I wrote this big long reply to this thread, but I didn't like it. So I think it comes down to a lot of mislead people. One person gets butt hurt and others take his side because it's Big bad Steve and he's famous so of course he's an asshole. I don't think I could handle myself the way Steve does, I couldn't imagine the amount of shit he has to deal with. I gotta give him praise on that, big time. I get a few questions here and there almost once a day now on facebook and it gets pretty annoying. I couldn't imagine hundreds of them a day. The people who run their mouths aren't giving back like Steve does, they don't provide a massive forum with countless build logs. If it weren't for SMD I wouldn't have had the chance to win the biggest contest of my life. There was a few issues down the road, but at least Steve responded to me and kind of explained why certain things were the way they were. I'm not mad about that at all, in fact, if I were in his shoes, I would have not responded at all or politely told myself to fuck off. I messaged JP as did other people on my account to promote me winning and got no response at all. It's water off a ducks back man, you do sick work, you have a badass shop(from what I see in videos) and you're constantly giving back to the car audio community. Fuck man, you got a signature sub. You know it belongs to a true hobbyist, all the panels cut up, big ass subs in it, lots of batts. I bust my ass to keep my POS going. I posted the gold car earlier on facebook. I wouldn't have done it. But the work looked good and it made someone extremely happy.

My measurements checked out perfectly and the seats hold them in place Not permanent. Eventually there will be three + and - runs off each batt plus a more proper way of securing them in place. But two batts will stay in this spot to aid weight distribution. I know I need to flip them, but that's how I had the runs setup when we put this box in. The D3100 makes the D6500 look tiny lol.

I like the basket a lot.
