Yeah but how would that work with 3 component sets and tweeters? Reason I said two was because when I asked about amps for highs the answer I got was to use 1 100.4 and 1 125.2 but if you guys know something I don't then let me know because I'm all for saving a buck when I can.Especially since this build has already hit the HOW MUCH mark LoL!!!

Well I'm a Kenwood guy so I can't really say much about the pioneer.Really it all boils down to what you trying to get out of the headunit.For $300 you can get the top line model deck from Kenwood Excelon series.Now when you start talking about touch screen your going to get what you pay for.If you want something good and thats going to be pushing a system I say just wait and save your money to get a better model or buy the single din top of the line.Check out OnlineCarStereo.com also and use the discount code ocsavings to get 5% off your order.Hope this helps you.

I have never tried using aero ports because I had no knowledge about them. It seems like you can save port area by using them. So I may look at using them now in this up coming build. I will search the forum for the info on what size to use and etc. -

Thats what I thought about those Aero ports because over here in Italy the Italians run them on their setups with 12's. Now they only use hatchbacks over here for SPL so they get pretty loud with smaller systems.I been running trunk systems for a long time now and my Avy build that I'm doing now will probably be my first that wont be a trunk build. -

Good info from Terry.I got a friend right now thats disappointed because he only hit a 140 on the dash with his 2 Kicker L7's on a Kicker 2500.He has a 2005 Monte Carlo with subs up port forward.I think I'm going to take this info terry just gave out about bracing the trunk area and see if he can get an increase.Since we got Terry in here answering questions would you say that the Aero ports for that setup would provide the best output? -
Yeah I tried using the torres one but the RE one was alot easier for me.Im new to the box designing scene so don't think I'm saying one is better than the other. I just found the RE calc to be a tad bit easier to use for my level.I still can't actually get my specs done for my box until my truck arrives so for now I'm using the specs off motor trends for the bed and midgate area.

I'm not the expert on boxes but if you put your measurements in the RE calculator you can tweak your specs until you get the volume frequency your looking for. As far as if 6cft will be enough for this sub,that should be enough since FI calls for 4.5 to 8. Here's the link to the RE website for the box calculator http://reaudio.com/box.php

or maybe he felt like he wasn't paid to answer your question but to do work. Like as a mechanic if you work at a dealership you really don't have to answer any customer question thats counter business

It wasn't like that.So if your dealer answer every question you had until you gave them the money and then ignored you after they got the sell how would you feel?Your waiting for an update on your vehicle when it will be ready for pickup and a week later still nothing.

I think what he meant about USPS was that shipping it to the guys overseas he cant track them.In the states he can but he may have a contract with FedEx and that's why he uses them.

SO would this amp power 6 6.5 Alpine pro component sets rated at 100rms a piece? I was looking around trying to find a thread that talks about proper amps for highs but couldn't find anything except this. I wanted to get this amp to run my 6 6.5 Alpine component sets. Where did you guys order from because I ordered from wccaraudio and I only got an order# which was 100000400. It was a Paypal E-check. I placed my order on the 2nd of Sep and guys that placed theirs after mine are already receiving tracking. Something don't sound right there. Input please.
