  1. Just something I did. Been trying to keep busy with things to keep my mind off depression. Not an easy battle, but am trying. Anyways, I hope someone enjoys this. Yeah, I'm still around, lol.
  2. You'd be surprised how much they can take. When you think about it, those home/pro audio units have to provide sound for a much MUCH larger area. EG: Take a pro or home audio system, put it in a living room and listen to how loud it is standing in there. Now take that exact same setup, with same volume and all, and put it in a common household walk in closet and stand in it. Big difference. That's the theory anyways.
  3. I was thinking on getting the CTEK 7002. I heard those were good.
  4. That'd be a very interesting concept. I've seena couple videos on Youtube where people've taken their plate amp'[ed home theater sugbs and put them on ower inverters and placed them in the back of their SUV's or cars. I've also seen people do this with window AC units. I have no doubt it'd be possible, but as far as worthy, I'm not sure. It'd definitely turn some heads though. I've even wondered what would happen if you took, say, one of those 2 18 JBL sub cabinets, that you see at concert venues, and threw it in the back of a vehicle, on a good power amp. This has my attention for the tech sake. Keep us updated on what you decide.
  5. Circuit Breaker? That actually answers my question, but do you just get a breaker rated for whatever amperage needed? or are there special os for said application?
  6. For a little more, you could get that same 2200d brand new. Not even that much more.
  7. my first amp was the Sony Xplod XM-502Z. It still works today, somehow....
  8. Mine'll have to wait 'til the new years, but these things have proven themselves worthy of the investment
  9. Merry Christmas SMD. I hope y'all have a good one and be safe! -G
  10. This is a video I put together lastnight (recorded over a period of a few days). Just thought I'd share. I'm a music lover and can play many instruments. In this video, I'm playing drums, bass, and 2 guitar parts. I took Billy Idol's "White Wedding" and metal'ed it up a bit. I did have a vocal track, but I was not very happy with it, so I nixed the vocal session from the recording. All audio is as seen played. There was no touching up or anything, so yeah, it's a bit scuffy. Hope you enjoy it anyways. Thanks for watching!
  11. Look at the woofers' specs. It will give you, generally, a box volume recommendation. If the two together equal out within the 7ft³ range then you're good. Correct me if I'm wrong on this one though.
  12. Shit like this is exactly why I don't play FPS games anymore.. Too many people use mods/cheats. Generally, yes, you can get banned from XBL. Not just a console ban, but an IP ban.
  13. Sounds to me like you want to use the RCA's that are already that that you have/had running to your T2500.1BDCP. They'll work, but if your head unit has Front, Rear, and Subs output, and you currently have the RCA's connected to your Subs output, you'll have to change them to the front or rear (Let's say rear). YOu'll also have to get a 2nd set of RCA's to connect to the other 2 channels (front) to connect to the other half of your amp. However, if you have only 4 oututs, Front, and Rer/Sub, then you'l just add the other RCA Cables to he unused cannels.
  14. Haha, Purplehaze, not me! Hell, I wish! I play drums and guitar... LOL Didn't kow it was a repost. Viral as hell though.
  15. All I can say is wow... ...buttered
  16. Feel free to chime in if I missed anything though
  17. Run the 0guage wire withthe OEM wire. There may be some thing conncted to the OEM wire, and f you dont have it on your alt, then that could be bad news for your components. As for installing Yes, it's not too hard, but be sure you disconnect your ground from the battery first before doing anything. For the 2nd battery, do a run of 1/0 from the first battery positive terminal to the 2nd batter positive terminal. Be sure to fuse the wire at both ends, within 18 inches of the batteries. Ground 2nd battery to the frame. Your alternator will charge your batteries, too.
  18. Do the big 3 in 1/0 guage, if it's not done already. After which, you'll see more sufficient power. Clean your ground placements. Sand away paint to ensure better ground. Wouldn't hurt to get a Kinetik, or XS power battery under the hood.
  19. All sealed boxes are air tight, hence the reason they're called "sealed" boxes. Now as far as actual vacume sealed, I would have thought that'd mean like the actual air is vacumed out of the box before it's sealed off. In other words, there'd actually be a pressure differential from the inside of the enclosure.
  20. Gotta have stereo sound I would never do that to my mids and highs.
  21. I am a musician. I do some programming tracks, but they're few and far between. I live in Tx though. You can check my tunes out at http://www.reverbnation.com/geraddeuvall
  22. ...And the Cowboys just made this Thanksgiving that much better! GO COWBOYS!
