i think only jls use refoaming. they probably make shitty surrounds just so you have buy a refoam kit.

ill try man! how do i go about doing that if the box is such a weird shape?? just type in a random numbers until i get the right volume that i have and then make a port for that? and would i use an aero port? Now try making one for SA8's and the appx. space you have. the port width is a little narrow i believe. id try to keep it 2"+. try to make the boxs height shorter like around 13 or 12 and thats alot of port per foot. idk if it would work or not i never made one with that much though. i know the general rule is bettween 12 - 16 but i like to stay around 13 or 14 if possible.

how i learned is i just got on torres and started messing around with it. what you should do just get on there and try to design a box for something simple like a single 12. try to get it to tune to 30. keep the port area per foot between 12 - 16 keep net volume around 1.5 - 2 cubes. just start throwing numbers at it. eventually you will get a good box then try another box. after a while you start to get it down and it gets easier and easier every time you do it and you learn what changing the dimensions will do.

i just went to clean my carb and when i took it off the float looks like its about to fall off and it doesnt click when i push it up. it clicks when i let it back down though. is this normal?

i have a litte yerf dog 6.5 hp go kart. it starts right up sometimes it idles fine sometime it idles for about 10 sec then dies. usually it goes for about 5 min then it starts going slower and slower until it dies. once it dies it will usally start right back up and sometimes it will go sometimes it wont. i think it might have something to do with the choke. i cant open it up all the way or it will die. so i think it chokes its self out because it runs to rich. but i have no idea anyone have any thoughts on why it does this?

honestly IMO if you dont need to really deaden your roof just want the rain not so loud id just get peel and seal. it would be a shit ton cheaper. but thats just me.

yea im gonna but some bracing thats why i made it a little bigger then i wanted and tuned a little lower. and ive decided to do 3 port walls all it changed was the tuneings a little lower and it raised the net volume about .6 and bracing should take up around .15? for 45 corners and wooden poles going up and across.

id do sa-15s or skar vvx 15s depending on what your going for.

you can usually get better numbers with a higher tuned box. i think thats what your asking?
