what if you are in need to replace rotors because theyre bent anyway and oem cost about if not more than slotted/drilled after market ones? would getting slotted/drilled be a good idea?

well yes i have a real amp too lol ment a pre amp like an eq. a sound processor of any type. only other thing i can think of is something someone suggested to me. is grounding your RCAs. im running out of ideas lol.

@ ingram thats what the noise filters are supposed to do. @kicker you could look at your rca's and see if you ran them the right way. they usually have arrows. if not. are you using a pre-amp or eq sometimes they are the cause of noise not always your HU so u might wanna try noise filters after that?

took the words right out of my mouth....i would build a bandpass box if i was you and port it up through the rear deck. i have never really liked bandpass. maybe because ive never seen any god ones. you wouldnt happen to have a model pic of a nice one? and how exactly would a bandpass box differ from just an ordinary ported with ports facing up? thanks P.S. if you could also keep in mind im pushing 2 15" L7's if sub type is important for a certain box build. i know theyre not much but its what i have now and my budget wont allow for an upgrade anytime soon

why not just off ebay. they are least expensive on there
