  6. YOUR WRONG!!!!... dude, im just dicking around,.. that was way to much to read, and got in the way of my drinking....
  7. Ok, well then if i see and read correct, i did have the same issue. The enclosure (and pressure made) in the trunk would find the mechanical limit of the 6x9's in the rear deck and they would POP. I said to hell with it, and just took them out. I suppose like stated above, there is a few things you can try. The noise and lack there of, they gave me, wasnt worth it to even keep them ,... again, just TO ME... your situation maybe different.
  8. Ok, from what i understand... You have an enclosure in your trunk and still running your rear deck 6by's???....
  9. ^^^ i like that.... i like that thinking alot.... and, maybe, just hold on to the savings a bit longer??? Just in my opinion,.. id rather not even play a audiopipe...just me...
  10. Whatever we wanna do eh???.... I played this video for some,... And was told to say "you look like you sniff bycicle seats" Sorry man... Just what I was told to write....
  11. Glad we got caught back up on this, dont wanna miss a thing. It looks beyond great. I'm sure it'll function as good as it looks. Very nice, Great job man, stoked and all over for what's coming next down the pipe.
  12. Ahh.. See,.. Lol, that's to much hassle for me.. Lol.. Thanks.. At OP- good luck.. (and how ever you do it) and get some pic/vids up man!!!.. Cheers
  13. What about videos?? If you do that on FB can you host them here?.. Lol, I don't understand... I gotta get the wifffff
  14. Ya.. I dont think the FB deal will work, that's the first I've heard of it, but I could be very wrong... (Other wise, that's how everyone would do it.. ?? But, Maybe I'm wrong.) I did run out of space on PB too,.. So I just bought the 2 year deal....
  15. Photo bucket here... Omega, how does the FB thing work?
  16. Ok,... so, the same question... does it only get loud.. or loud and sound ok.... hmmmm..... It is a great sub,..... PM some of those you see running them. I would have to think the little buggar would do about anything you ask..... With that, and why i said "tuff one" is,........................................well what power you have to give? enclosure? tune? what car? what do you prefer to listen to music wise? how many of em are you gonna run? .... will it be raining when you buy them or just the wind blowing?.......... and maybe a couple trillion other factors. Do you see what im saying????? Its just kinda a "out there" question man.... Edit - with that,... what is loud to you? and, what sounds good to you?
  17. what is SQ to you? ...... hell, or me? tuff one bro...
  18. I dunno,... i maybe on the early beer buzz,... it is friday... but Your burning coil on low stock alty power?... correct? Hell, you get a high output alty, and that amp will actually show you what it can do.... you think you smell coil now?? with no power?.... thats probably saving the subs from going up in smoke for good......... set your gains,...... properly..... or, maybe your expecting to much..???? I guess, what i read was, "i smell coil" and the answer is he needs more electrical????????...... i have to be mis-reading??? EDIT- please be gentle,... booze is on......... Or, i dont understand the issue in full...
  19. saw that, and would love to be...have fun, and be safe..
  20. Cool,... Thanks,.. At the moment, I wish I had the time, and effort to try them. Even just try them. But, I think I'm struggling with just the gear I have now... Damn... Guess I'll pass. Thanks to all involved.
  21. But you HAVE heard some?... This pair was the first I have ever even seen with my own two eyes, let alone heard.....again, Salt Lake City, Utah is more known as the state you can have 18 wives. Not car audio heaven. Now, thinkin back that far, and also knowin the huge improvements in components and X-overs these days.... What can you add???
  22. Damn,.. That's awesome, and thanks. I wish some one around here had some I could hear. Hell, there's probably only a hand full of us that even get in to car audio at all, let alone runnin some WG's. Again, I appreciate the info man. I'll send a Pm later in a bit. I'd like to hear some tricks of the trade with tuning.
  23. Yep, I do remember thinking at the time " my truck doesnt even cost as much as 1 of those"??? ....I also do remember that any, any car that was winning at that time, was using them. Thats why my interest was sparked when i ran into this decent looking set. I remember seeing they were fairly full range, and crazy efficient. I also remember seeing some very cool dash installs to accommodate the guides. You have any idea as why they died (so to speak) out ??
  24. I hear you, and from what im getting back today from some others with the know, placement is hella key. With that, im wondering if any more "modern" dashes can fit them. Maybe a reason they headed out...?????
