Say I have a d1 sub and an amp that is only stable down to 1 ohm. If I want to run it at 1 ohm, could I use 2 resistors in the place of the voice coils of another sub? If so, what sort of resistors should I get (or would any old 1 ohm resistor work?)

Just got my package from him and wow am I a happy camper He replied quick to all correspondence and shipped it right out the next day after payment and when it got here he shot me a text saying that he had gotten an email and was checking to see if I had gotten it A super positive thing is his shipping which was phenominal It got here 2 days after he shipped it, with insurance and through FEDEX which is better than UPS in my book He texted me a tracking number right when he got it and showed me a picture of the shipping invoice His packaging was amazing, a huge, very sturdy box with a massive amount of shipping peanuts cushioning the sub which was itself wrapped in liberal amounts of bubble wrap.

To me that sounds like a port on the bottom means that it's completely cut off and is basically a large sealed box? I mean like on the bottom of the front with the woofer cut out above it I don't sketch up but I do PAINT Okay, now that I understand what it looks like what were you looking to do, just make sure that the last calculation in Torres seemed correct? I just looked back at it and it seems right for the most part I believe, except for the common port walls area.
