  1. Stay in contact with them after applying helped for me. I got my fist job when i was 15 working the snackbar at the local pool. In the interview i was truthful and honest. The job i have over the summer (school) was offered to me.
  2. I like the way the bottom one is tuned can the subs take it or will it unload? Edit: thought it said 25 hz lol! That box seems like it will be very musical! Thanks for the quick reply!
  3. Downsizing from one 12 to 2 8" skars. I would like a box with 2 4" aeroports that i could port into the cabin. The requirements are 37" wide, 15" tall, 16" deep. That is the largest i can go on all sides. Thanks!
  4. Considering im from seattle, it is completely across the states!
  5. Signed. Lets keep this guy in jail. I am very sorry for your loss.
  6. The cracks act like a "ported" box. The hissing just makes it louder!
  7. is the mdf seat cubby for batteries or what? i am also thinking of deadening my car with some deadener. i want to cut down the road noise on the freeway and also stop things from rattling, lol.
  8. /drool. Neighbor has one for sale for dirt cheap but the firewall has holes in it.... Gotta love old mopar tho. They clean up nice!
  9. Cablguy, i was trying it out while my trunk dried. I was letting my box dry out because i was fixing a trunk leak. It is back in my trunk. I will move it to the back seat to do a hairtrick if you want me to otherwise, i will keep it in the back.
  10. Its a huge ass box tuned to 29 but i forgot to add port displacement so it is ~26hz. I clamped the amp and at 5 ohms it was doing 180 watts because of box rise. Its a sa12 d4ohm wired to 2. I will try my best but i am selling this amp this saturday. It wasn't a real hairtrick but her hair was fluttering and the bottom of her hair was levatating in the window. i have a vid of it in the backseat but no hairtrick. i will see if i can pull it up. I thought the amp was doing 450 watts but according to clamp meter and dmm it did 180. I was like WTF?? EDIT: videos. Edit#2: It gets 180 watts on juice box when it was clamped. I would assume it is somewhere in the 300-350 watt range on lower notes.
  11. this is not meant to be a versus thread and if it does, I will request a deletion of this thread.
  12. Hey guys. I have an 12 inch sub in a huge box in my trunk and i was thinking about switching to two 8's because of the sale and size differences. have any of you guys done it? I need something that doesn't rip apart my trunk like the 12 lol but i want it still be somewhat loud. I also want it to be smaller and i think 8's will be able to do that. Inputs? Thoughts?
  13. What is rattling? make sure everything is secure and it latches properly before anything.
  14. If you are on your phone, i scrolled to the bottom left of the screen and it said view on mobile.
  15. I drive stick daily and its second nature. Once you know the car, you know when to shift. When in doubt, use the tach. If you are new, keep volumes low and wait till you're better.
  16. Ya if you do something, man up and admit to it if you did something to anothers car...
  17. i say build a new box first. My 600w rms sub is running off a RFt300/2 clamped at 180 watts and im able to do hairtricks. i say build a new box, tune it well and see what you can make of it from there. don't spend a lot of money on something that you don't need quite yet.
  18. its totally up to you but if i were you i wouldn't get type r's. at best buy, they are 250 each.. i say go to amazon and see what you think of a sundown. i got a huge box for mine and am putting 180 watts clamped and tested to it (600w rms sub) and it Pushes soo much air its insane. I put the sub in my back seat and got a hairtrick from 1 12 on 180 watts. these subs sound great and are VERY well made. they just feel so much more solid than any best buy sub ive felt. they run about 160 shipped when i got mine but who knows how much they are now.
