  1. Crap! I wish I would have seen this earlier....
  2. No, all I've ever used is B-Quiet and Dynamat.
  3. This is what I use. http://www.b-quiet.com/extreme.html
  4. Personally, I think deadener is always a good investment. You will notice a difference in overall noise and rattles, for sure.
  5. May a thousand Hillary Clintons rain down on those responsible for this.
  6. I think you know why....which one didn't take any bailout money?
  7. On our local news last night they had a man showing that on his Prius you have to hold the shifter in neutral for 2 seconds before it goes in...and I can't help but wonder...what kind of a douchebag would buy a Prius?
  8. I can see the average person panic at first when it happens...but the one that gets me is the cop who let his car get up to like 140mph and went miles before losing control and killing his whole family...at some point you would think he would have thought about turning off the damn key.
  9. I would have bet money that the other Corey would have died first.

  12. You'll have a hard time finding anyone on here who will agree with you. I've ordered from Darvex many times with no issues at all.
  13. Haha! Don't expect too much of it...I've hardly ever seen any interest in NCAA basketball on these boards other than me.
  14. Carbon fiber vinyl. I've got a roll of it in black. It looks great and is easy to work with. Here it is in red. http://www.yourautotrim.com/shcafihrored.html
  15. Yeah, the accordian boot isn't the problem either. The problem will be in between the boot and the box. Where the port passes through into the cab will have a gap around it. When it rains, the rain can run down the front of the box, onto the port and right into the cab and run off there. One way could be to fill the gap with expanding foam. I wouldn't do this for a couple of reasons. It would be a big mess for one. When you want to change anything in the future you will have to deal with getting the box out, then cleaning the foam up, then re-applying more foam. Also, I would be worried that the motion of the box slightly shifting would eventually either pull the accordian boot loose or make a leak in the foamed part just big enough for water to get through.
  16. Yes, it's possible. Waterproofing the box itself isn't that hard. But, you have to find a way to seal off the cut-out into the cab.
  17. You need a fuse near the second battery also.
  18. He won't be gaining anything by doing that. Think about the power wire running between the alt and the battery...If you hook to the alternator, you are still hooked to the battery via that cable. If you hook to the battery, you are still hooked to the alt via that cable.
  19. Is this going through the sliding window or did you take the window out? I think what he is wanting to do is go through the window. That isn't a lot of area for 4 15's. I am sure it could work fine but it would take plenty of bandpass knowledge.
  20. Yeah, that's about right.
