Sell them and get a better brand.. I had 4 cvr 15s that i just sold, got loud but It still left for more to be desired..

Those 7ks are tempting but idk of anything into fixing them..

I never payed that much attention to thread pertaining to crescendo.. That bc5500 sounds like it may just do the trick...

$1200 max and I have yet to order the subs because of this exact delima, so they can either be D2/D4

I have heard/ owned most of the popular brands around here and don't really have a spacific favorite really.. My funds hider my choices a little as well, so two saz3500 are out of question as well as dc amps unless I could find a majorly good deal. Thought about those new crescendo 3500s but idk the price nor have I ever personally delt or heard them..

Coilovers for a car is the best way.. Dailyed a ext cab silverado with a wall for over a year with not one complaint other than backing out of parking spots is a little harder

The older xb is my favorite.. My ex girl has a newer xb and I didn't really care for it.. It was nice a reliable tho.. Just felt odd driving it IMO

I currently have two aq1200ds that I love, rebuilding my setup and it will include 6 skar vvx 15s.. I want to push around 800-1000 per sub.. But I am debating on keeping my amps and getting two more.. Then running dual 2s and each pair of amps strapped at 1.34 ohm, or maybe selling them and getting two amps and going ~.6 ohm each with dual 4s.. My electrical will be able to hold 6k easily so I don't need the comments about ohm loads.. I need opinions on what to do.. If I sell my two amps I will have around 5-600 to spend per amp so suggestions welcome..

Ive actually been thinking, you can make your own passive crossover boards that will make it exactly how you want it, lp at 4k hp at 100-120 for mids and hp at 4k for tweets... Or for mid sub/mid/tweet setup, 100-300 300-4000 then 4000+ all in one board, it's all about how much time/ how much cash you want spend..

You would need a high pass set at like 120-240 for mids and high pass set at like 4k? For tweets

You don't want the mids on full range, they aren't needed to create low frequncys that's what subs are for, but yes if done correctly it would sound better where as the staging would be a little better, I will be running all of mine active when I get to that point

You can, you would just have to use the amp as the crossover.. Read up on active crossovers and such, the search button is your friend... You would have to use a 4ch and run mid woofers to ch 1/2 and tweets to 3/4 of have a separate amp for each

Or I could go into the store I worked at and my buddy/ ex co worker will throw 25-30% off anything I buy But yea coupons are always nice, and sometimes depending on the store, you can go to rockauto.com and if it's cheaper they will price match it in the store.. I've seen people save quite a bit doing that when I worked there not to long ago.. Something about a corporate meeting that was held saying where competition was getting so great they had to start doing it for anyone who brings in a printout that was cheaper or had proof like the page pulled up on your phone

I need to switch it to black tape or heat shrink, but it's all I had to play with here at work.. Maybe do some good with smaller more flexible wire.. This scosche 8ga is to stiff.. But the loop is nice

You don't always have to set it two below, for op I say yes set if a few hz below tuning freq but for people who know what they are doin you can indeed set it however you want and not bottom out your subs

For a single 12 I would try to make it as close to 1 cubic foot as possible..

I don't see a question posted anywhere in the first post.. Are you askin to have a box designed? An no they done have to be ported, that's just dumb to think that.. Inverting changes almost nothing but gives the box more room inside..

First ones look kinda cheap to me.. Kinda like there wasn't much finishing done in the design department.. But gl with whichever you choose, and be sure to get pics
