fedex just has bad service, i ordered a dd-1 and still havent gotten it yet, SMD headquarter is in Sacramento and i live in LA and its taking 3 days when it should be one business day with ups, Steve should ship through ups and make everyone happy

^^^^^ This..... I was outside when the UPS man came with my HDC3's granted I live in an apartment, but still he just rode through and stopped turned around and left..... I was like wtf? So I called them immediately and met the driver to get my shit, I was pissed, he gave no effort and I felt as if he was trying to get me on. I checked my email real fast before I called them thinking, well maybe he was'nt there for me, but my email said not a correct adress so it could'nt be delivered when it clearly was. When I picked them up his dumbass had the nerve to ask me if they where subs, that really pissed me off, that's when I knew he was trying to take my shit home with him, stupid little bastard he wouldnt steal them trust me, UPS scanned on his truck then he scans you address dont exist would make him lose hes job, maybe he didnt find your address and the drivers have a time to where they have to deliver the packages and scanning them and putting the address was not found was easier to do, i know because i ship hundreds of packages everyday and know what the drivers do so they wont get in trouble for not getting the deliveries done op: maybe the buyer did get them but since he didnt sign for them he wants to be a dick and get a free pair of subs. people are dirty and will find a ways to cheat other people

why (2) HC1200 when you can get (1) HC2400 for a few bucks more? im sure 1 big enough battery would do better than 2 small ones in your case it would equal power but 1 bat = less money

i have (2) kinetik HC 2400 on my SUV and they work fine, i do hear XS having a better bat but could be because they are partners with SMD and people can be somewhat of kiss asses, no offense to anyone but yeah every time i ask for something they direct me to or suggest one of SMD partners and say my picks are not good

try great stuff, just try not getting it by the lock or the lever. on the trunk by the bracing add some to it then a sheet of deadener to stiffen the trunk also if you have a gap big enough for your hand to fit by where the lock is try putting some deadener there too

I've seen so many bandpass boxes that has worked for many cars, it worked for my truck and my brother car and if i ever get a car i'm going bandpass. no matter what you do your trunk will flex and rattle. i done dynamat great stuff with no results and bandpass boxes are the way to go

damn did it take that long to get the subs?

sale is for 4 days, when i was looking at the site it on Thursday it said the prices would adjust automatically on Friday and when i checked they never changed and still haven't, maybe they adjusted the prices on Thursday or never gave us the deal, does anyone know of anything they bought that did change in price on Friday? edit: either way, the cost i got for is worth it. RE XXX go for $1000+ and don't come close to the Mayhem.

my brother has it in a 2003 impala and its bad ass and the box is really not big like 1.5 cuf per chamber plus whatever he has at front which can be another 1.5 to 2 cuf and its clean

make a bandpass box with the port to the panel and that will stop the rattle, great stuff works too in tight areas, but the box will give you best bass though

also make sure you clean the area where you are going to be grounding from

back in the days like 2000 i had bought a fosgate with 1000 watts rms and tried to power it with the same cable i had for some cheap amps and had it playing but was horrible and we thought fosgate was crap, then when we took it off we noticed that the power and ground was melting bad, couldnt even touch the wire, so yes you need to use the recommended gauge wire per amp if you dont want your car to burn down
