I don't undrestand everything about what goes on with strapping amps but it basically links both amps to act as one so what is the problem?

I have not seen this question and since I will be using my saz 2500 if I do this I figure I will ask in this forum. Can I strap a 2.5k with a 1.5k to get my desired 4k amp. Has anyone done this and can it be done safely?

Thats a trick question........I am missing way to much info. Are you asking about spl because in your last post you were saying you wanted to do sound comps. If so get 2 d2 and wire down to .5 ohms and get the most from a single amp. When using 2 amps instead of 1 what amps are you thinking of using? can you strap them if so do so and run each amp at .25 ohms and really push your system.

Oh and a FYI they are actually selling their car. I just seen up for sale thats one crazy ride.

Aircraft stripper will strip anything down to the metal. We used it to remover vinyl decals. Keep in mind you will have bare metal afterwards.

Trunk builds are hard. Trust me. Thats what I am doing. It takes alot of power to overcome the smaller boxs. Look at alan and lacy hall on youtube their cars are crazy. The impala should have a larger trunk but then you have more cabin area. Do your seats fold down?

O.K. I just started doing comps but you are going to find the low wattage cats. got some serious players. We have stock cars under 600 doing 158 down here using crx's. Those cars are so over powered. Find you a class you vehicle can excel in. It's all about finding you a nich.

Let me ask a few questions? What type of car you got and what type of build are you doing? Wall, trunk give me some idea and I might can help with some ideas. There is alot of choices out there. Low wattage large cone area check out obsidian 18's Skar makes some good inexpensive subs so does sundown. My openion is if you are trying to compete on a budget dd is not the brand for you. thats my .02¢

I really wish You'ld come out with a true 4k amp. In usaci we have limited choices to keep under the 1k @ 4 ohms either we stack 2 d5 or 2 ai 20.1 or we use a d9. I love my saz 2500 I got it to stay under 600. Now I wanna push the 1k and I am finding it dificult to get there

I am really considering reconing my xl 15's right now they are d2 but I would like to go to d1.4's or 1's. I wanna get more power out my amp. What do recones run at? Also anyone got some input on spiders. I would like to understand more on what would be better for my setup. I am currently running a saz-2500 but plan on moving up to a d9 in the next couple weeks. How do the different spiders effect output?
