I haven't gotten a chance to use them yet i haven't been home and my amp won't be here till tomorrow but I'm looking forward to it :-)
-
Ok thanks. Lol i got it originally just cuz it was in a combo with the DD-1 and i eventually plan to upgrade the speakers too... Then i just realized maybe I could use it on my subs too lol
-
Should i use the CC-1 i got on my sub amp too? I mean those have a low pass crossover built in usually right?
-
hey!!! yay it works lol it also puts the txt in notepad style format though... I guess we will see if it transfers into the actual text after you post edit - lol nope

Introduce Yourself
bassfreake replied to meade916's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
where at in VA Beach? if you want there's a thread for us VA ppl that you can post in too and keep an eye on it HatersGonnaHate posts in there when there's a car show or competition in VA so then you can go check it out meet fellow car guys and see what's out there -
like I said more than likely either user error or hifonix amp. sounds like maybe it could be a short? if I'm off someone please set me straight, also check the power and ground wires when my subs started doing that my power wire had started to melt and fused to the terminal because of noobish attempt at jerry-rigged wiring... either way the point is it sounds like possibly sporatic power to the subs which to my memory is often caused by a short... look at all your power ground positive and negative wiring on both the amp and the subs and make sure none of them have loose wiring that's touching.
-
I vote that is the fault of the hifonix amp not of the subs ? either that or simple user error... maybe missed connecting a wire completely and it came loose or something? I wouldn't just scrap everything and leave the scene just cuz you hooked up your subs and they didn't do anything, troubleshoot... make a thread asking about it with lots of details and lots of pictures and see if anyone here can help you figure out what happened... it's not the first time someone tried something new and stuff didn't work perfectly the first time.
-
you should do a setup like the escalade but 2 of them lol so a row of subs on the walls and a row facing both directions in the middle!! lol no clue if that would even be practical but it sure sounds freakin awesome lol I'm totally tuned in though! and I'm really liking the 4 T15k idea I saw someone say lol 60kw astro ftw!

SA-12 D2 or D4
bassfreake replied to Novak's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
I think one amp I've seen fairly commonly suggested to put on a single SA was the SoundQubed Q1-750... it's about $200 new and you could probably look for one cheaper if you're willing to go used http://www.soundqubed.com/Q1-750-Amplifier_p_46.html it's a little more expensive than the hifonics but better quality too -
same problem here, and I cant figure out how to do what your talking about I think it means that you can see the content, as long as you actually posted or participated or liked every single post on the forum. If you don't participate in the thread, it's blank. If indeed that's the way to fix my inability to post in certain forums or view users content, I have ALOT of reading and posting to do. Post count, here I come! I couldn't even see stuff that I was the OP on

do I need one and how big
bassfreake replied to bassfreake's topic in XS Power Batteries / Chargers! (and other stuff too)
For 1, 1 D 3100, for 2 2 D3100 or 1 D7500 minimum, better 3 D3100 or more. is that for if I add the batteries to the one I've already got under the hood?
