  1. Did both upwars due to the owner's demand. What do you think ?
  2. OK, I did some planning and I got a bout 3.25 net (not included sub, port and bracing) tuned to 32 with about 16.5-16.6 sq in of port area for each cubic feet. How is that ?
  3. Hello ! I'm about to build a box for Mazda 3 5 doors (hatchback). The equipment is: single 15" Level 4 with XL soft parts Celestra DA2K (2100RMS) My question is: What is the best locations for the subwoofer and port? would it be better putting them on different sides, like sub upward and port firing to the rear door or the opposite maybe ?
  4. I'm building a box to 15" level 4. the amp is DC 1.2k. Should I make a bit bigger box because of the reduce in power ? maybe 3.5CF instead of 3.25?
  5. I have managed to do something but the port length is 87cm and his distance from the box wall in 7cm. Is it OK to do it like this? or the distance ought to be bigger ?
  6. Hello, I want to build a box for low powered single 12 level 2: Needed volume is 1.5CF net (include displacements it might get to 1.8-1.9 or so) Needed port area: 21-24 cubic inches (for the whole box). Slot port is required. No other dimensions limits. Is there an option to do this and stay with L port (2 walls of port) and noy U sype of port (3 walls of port) ?
  7. The Level 4 m2 are great! lots of power and still good accuracy.
  8. 1997 Mitsubishi Colt (Mirage) Stock alt 1 D3400 (under hood) 1 D3100 (in the trunk) 2 12" DC Level 3 m2 / lv4 coils. 1 DC 5.0k (gain all the way down- about 3000W clamped) 2.2 CF ported box (1.1 per sub- pretty small). 145.2 sealed on dash:
  9. 0.8 for the 10" after displacement ? not sure I'll have the room for this since I'm talking about a pair. Have I had the room for this I would have gone on 12's. The amp is 5.0K for the pair of 10" XL's, and after trying 1:2.5 and 1:1.25 on the lvl2 10's I really like the low ratio, But maybe I'll try the higher again and see the differences.
  10. I figure the ratio apropriately to what I want to achieve, but the volume itself is unknown for me (as it doesnt have sealed option in the website). I've seen people like mike singer that build 4th orders for XL even though it doesnt have a sealed recommendation. so I wonder why doesn't it like 4th orders.
  11. Hey, Can someone tell me the recommended sealed side for 10" XL in 4th order bandpass ? The level 2 sealed recommendation is 0.5 CF and the level 4 is 0.75. I was wondering if I can mount it in a 0.5 or something bigger is needed ? BTW, just finished several days ago a 4th order box for 2 level 2 10" and it has lows like hell, you cant tell theses are 10's nor just 500W each! Another great product from DC Audio !
  12. I think that these are better good looking because of the shade is brighter and the contrast with the black is better. Is there an option of full color without black stripes in it ?
  13. does someone know what's the weight of the 3.5K 2.0K and the 1.2K ?
  14. Did someone ever tried the 10" level 2 m2 in a T line ? I'm trying to design it by myself and it's pretty complicated, I was wondering if someone did this so I can try his design. Also thought about high power subwoofer in a T-line like XL 10". did someone ever tried it ?
  15. That's sexy woofer ! The wide surround adds a lot to the good looking
  16. I think I'll go with 2, I can't carry 4 of them, I asked because I thought about only 1 D3100.
  17. Hello ! I have the 5.0K and want to use it well on 2 12's XL's I already have D3400 in the front and going to have 200A Singer Alternator. How many D3100's sould I add ? I know that the more the better, But I'll have serious weight issues so I don't want to carry something that won't make any difference.
