lmao, my box is no were nere prefab lol, and is built to spec, but mine is sealed, i kno ported is louder but how does it sound on rock n country? lol mine will jam the hell out of some john michael montgomry lol, but i might redo it sometime if this shit im goin threw right now blows over, ima do an upfireing ported box if i can, i dont like tryin to tune a ported box cause i unno how really, and i use bearch not mdf so it chips a lil but it works, and i got minamal area to take up, i got a set of 6&1/2's and a set of 8's i gotta incorperate behind the seats also around the subs so what i got now is pritty much the best box i can do for my truck, 2 cubes each sub sealed, i unno maby more power? one of the tinsles came loose and i had to soilder it back so i dont want to fuk that up cause takein my box out = pain in ass, seats have to go, wires have to go, speakers have to go, its bullshit really, anywho those 10's look to be goin good, i hate it that kicker aint gunna be makein cvx's no more, local dealer said they cant even get em from kicker anymore so i unno, get em while u can i guess? they said its a l7 round sub i think, and the cvr is a l5 round sub? somethin like that, anyways keep up da good work

when u build a downfire try to keep the sub around 2'' off floor and a set of mtx 5500 10's would jam i think, what kinda power u lookin at giveing em? my 5500 15's was rated at 300rms and i was feedin em 500rms n they didn't stink, plus downfire ftmfw!!, ied do some kicker cvr 10s ina sealed downfire or some cvt's, the more airspace u can give em the lower the loud, mine play low as hell with about 2cubes each 15, but ima prolly redo my box n do either forward ported or up ported n see if its louder, or one ported lol i unno, anyways ive seen 2 12'' pioneers off a mtx 1000d under the seat of a chevy regular cab n they was loud as hell, i dont kno how he did it but it was jammin like hell, by 9's in the doors and 6&1/2s in kicks, and if u want to spend the money get 2 10'' cerwin vega vmaxx's, i had 2 12's in my truck ina rigged up downfire n it was louder than my current setup now, im thinkin bout redoin it n runnin 2 12's ported tho, anyways hope that helped

i unno what class i would be in, and would they count my 8's as subs even tho there setup to run as midbass? and my box is below top of seat and about 3-4'' below window line and my rear speakers are above but i dont think that counts lol, but it might do louder i unno i aint rly pushed it to much cause i dont want to blow my subs cause they dont sell em anymore and there the shyt but ive got louder with 12's tho so it might be around 135 or so, maby 140max im not sure, i dont want to fart it but it might be loud on farts but i unno bout music tho, nothins dynomated its all factory
